Hi everypony today i have a big question ...how is suppose to be the chronological timeline of mlp:fim ? i have a hypothesis that is like this the events that we need to see are: nightmare moon,discord,sombra first sombra took the crystal empire for 1000 years, later celestia and luna take him down, later discord appears and again celestia and luna take him down and later "no more than 1-10years later" luna-nightmare moon fight against her sister "celestia" and celestia banished her to the moon for 1000 years, soo that means that celestia is 2020 years old or more?and all of them came back the same year? There is my other hypothesis: sombra only took the empire for less than 1 month obviously celestia and luna toke him down and later they fought against discord and later too much later discord decide to take a revenge making that the both princess fought one against the other using luna"or maybe luna just had set her mind to that because she just wanted it", her banishment was suppose to be for 1000 years but nightmare moon-luna came back only after 10 years of all the 1000 years that will suppose to be,like is in the episode 1. :Trollestia: But there are something that doesn't fit on this history ..for example the celestias hair were pink when she was a little bit younger ... with the time ...she gets a rainbow hair. Some help with this.
If you're open for conspiracy theory, my headcanon is that Equestria is actually a post-apocalyptic version of Earth in which talking ponies took over after the fall. Evidence would be this tire underground; ponies don't have cars. This would mean Present day happened before everything in the Canon Equestria.
I said this very same thing when season 3 started. I just assume stuido B didn't put much thought into it. Maybe they didn't think a bunch of red shirt guys would bring up small details. I dunno.
If you think the MLP Timeline is confusing, you should check up on the Legend of Zelda theories XD. Anyway, the concept of a time "line" is actually quite inaccurate.
