Glory is a nation I have spent the past several years developing, at this point in time, it has reached practical interstellar travel(as has Equestria) and because of it's war with Equetria over the planet of Ciilonii (which was the closest 'green' planet to both systems), Glory has decided it will hunt Equestria down and destroy it. Their stereotype is being cold, calculating people that constantly look for the most efficient way possible to do things. Their government is essentially a democracy with a real powerful, unelected executive in the form of a king, who is currently Julii Juliianos Hadriionus the New Great. However, the main thing you guys need to know is that they want to destroy Equestria and you need to help stop them.
Yes, each one varies for what type of Glorian soldier you are fighting, I'll give a list from least dangerous to most Rugiilas(Regulars): Common soldier, usually recently graduated from school and serving the required 4 years active duty demanded by law, usually equipped with a common Glorian assualt rifle, a backup pistol, several grenades and other ordinance, and armored by a special uniform made from a material similar to Kevlar, but able to stop higher-caliber rounds with less material than Kevlar can. Usually have about 3-6 months of dedicated training on top of the required training given throughout their education, often times is simply used as a follow up and garrison force, but can be used in direct battle when numbers and speedy reinforcements are needed. Numbers around 7 million soldiers. Legotium Magniitium(Grant Guard): The second largest corp of the Glorian Army(the Royal Land Forces of Glory). Trained from about the age of 10, these are the main attack force of the Glorian army. Very well trained, they aren't equipped much differently from the Rugiilas, but their equipment is of higher quality, and also will occasionally be armed with energy weaponry. These men are often used to spearhead offensives that need rapid mobility, numbers, and good firepower, they are also used quite often as paratroopers to land behind enemy lines and cause havoc. Numbers around 1.5 million soldiers. Legotium Elatia(Elite Guard): the smallest, most elite of the three main corps of the R.L.F.G., this group numbers at around 100,000 soldiers and they are trained from birth to be emotionless killing machines that fight for Glory until death. They are known on their home world as the most dangerous things on the planet and are feared and respected by everyone. They are covered in armor that is made to be able to stop anything short of a missile being lobbed directly at them (and even then they could possibly survive) and they are armed with extra-heavy weaponry, everything from essentially miniguns torn off the tops of tanks to rapid fire grenade launchers. To face an Elatian is to stare death in the face, and 9 times out 10, you will die if you are an enemy. Never mess with an Elatian, as it will only end badly for you. If an Elatian offensive is coming, run, for it is better to live and fight against some Legotium Magniitium offensive later on than to stand and fight against an Elatian offensive. Vehicle wise, the Glorians love to use well armored APCs (Armored Personal Carriers) and high soldier carry capacity tanks, they are mainly used to get their troops quickly to the front lines, assist until they are firmly in the fight, then go grab the next bunch.
One more question, probably should've already known, regarding equipment: Air force. Are we flying jets or strapping guns on Pegasuses?
I would say both, depending on the circumstance - - Auto Merge - - Oh, and the basic, ideal Glorian attack goes like this: Legotium Magniitiums are landed behind the current front but what is desired, wreak havoc, weaken the defensives, etc, then a rain of missiles pulverizes the area, followed by carpet bombing from planes (these two stages also is where complete air control is attempted to be achieved), then after all that bombing, in comes the Elatians, followed by Magniitiums, then the Regulars. But of course this is usually only done on heavily defended areas. A lot of times, the stages are mixed together or some are skipped entirely, it all depends on the resources at hand and also the resistance expected from the area. oh, and also the Citadel fleet and what exactly it is made up of: 1 Citadel(it is essentially a giant platform made for carrying two things, lots of firepower inthe form of the nearly 100 MA cannons(which fire large chucks of metal at targets near the speed of light) and a giant troop carrier 2 Ultra Julii-Class Man O' Wars (the largest, most powerful non-Citadel ship type) 2 Large Man O' Wars(these are actually 'normal' Man O' Wars) 4 Light Man O' Wars 5 Tiber-class Super War Carriers(the next largest of the ship classes, War Carriers are the bread and butter of the Royal Glorian Space Navy) 6 Large War Carriers 6 Light War Carriers 10 Heavy Frigates 15 Frigates 20 Light Frigates 17,425 Sambreas(Glory's space fighters) And then there's the huge invasion force they are carrying

A lot of POW's from the Ciilonii war never went back home to Glory(the same thing happened with them) and you'll also occasionally find Gloryians in the Equestrian military, like the about 50 'reprogrammed' Elatians they have as guards for the royalty and that kinda stuff
