Hey Everypony, it's your pet artist Virgil Pony! Boy has it been a while since I last posted a thread. I've been busy getting together my articles of Incorporation here in Oregon so I can be ready to link up with a proper Paypal account. The reason for that is many fold, but what pertains to you is this: all we need now is a reliable vendor to work with and Everypony.com is going to have it's own site and radio themed SWAG for purchase. You heard me: You are all about to get the merchandise you have wanted for so long. So while you can imagine all the fun stuff that you'll be able to buy to sate your need for Everypony.com goodies, I realized there is a critical problem here. I don't want to just draw what I think you deserve to be able to purchase, I want to draw the very things you want to see ending up on Coffee Cups, Thermoses, T-Shirts, Ball Caps and all the rest! I've seen the tremendous creative nature of this community up front and personally. You guys have a lot of really wonderful ideas inside you but many lack the ability to express them visually. Since that is the very reason why I have a job here, I want to extend this into a proper opportunity for everypony to get the products they want to buy. It's going to mean quite a work load, but this is the only solution. You are a stunningly impressive community of good ponys who want an opportunity to put your hoof on something and call it your own. For the sheer fun of it, that's just what I and the Mods are going to do with the merchandise. This thread and the posts within it is going to catalog your ideas. Everypony who thinks they have a good slogan idea for a shirt or something as silly as a one-off of their OC that might be a good fit for a promotional item is welcome to describe it here. We need Site/Radio Slogans, we need image ideas for products and a whole host of other ideas as the kinds of different products we can put the art on increases. I couldn't possibly come up with the best ideas for this site so I am handing this off to you, the ponies that matter, to help me create products you want most! I want anything and everything (within site rules and decency of course) that you can come up with. Items that are most popular go first and we will try to figure out a way to get as many of your ideas through as possible. It will be slow at first and may not take off for several months, but we are going to give you just what you're looking for by hook, crook or HAX. The only limitation is that we can't sell items Copyright of HASBRO. That's both a legal requirement and a personal requirement. I care about them too much to step upon their IP. After all, they've been nothing but good to us. Everything else, however, is on the table. Show me what you've got and through our collaboration, we are going to show everypony just what we're made of! Lets have those ideas!
~Yay~ Something that would really help would be some sort of vendor that allows custom images, so people can post their own OC's on a shirt, under an EP logo perhaps. I know there are some that do that, I'll go look.

Shirts from Everypony! ..shirt <3 I guess good things do come for those who wait. Same as AppleBuck, I would buy anything I could, as far as my dad allows... But my price range is lame. I'd probably just get shirts

You know what I'd love? Everypony CD covers. What better way to keep the music I download from the EPR Media list than on CD's with Everypony covers?
Well funny you should mention that because I was considering (at one point) just general CDs, but it'd be waaaay to hard to provide legal stuff and pay the artists their due etc. Maybe if the staff make some originals... But CD covers? idk.. Not sure that'd be as easy as it sounds. Mouse mats maybe =D
Let's just stick with custom shirts. Just a Front or Back version of this image below. (Yeah, I stole the banner lol, yay Firefox.) As for the shirt color/colour, it's up to you.
I realize that Virgil is already hard at work drawing pony OC's, but I think it would be an awesome idea if he were able to take requests for OC designs for shirts. Once he gets some spare time, of course. Maybe open up a separate request thread for it? We could give either a pic or description of our OC, an idea of what kind of pose you want the OC in, and some kind of background for it. That way, you could get a shirt of either your own OC, or someone else's OC that you really like.
