Everyone except Applejack, I think there's some kind of funny message to that. Seriously though, if even Twilight becomes an alicorn, I'll be disappointed with Hasbro and hope DHX Studios can make the most out of it, because it is honestly seeming likely now, and I have no desire to see this fandom die, or the rabid bronies to flip their shizzles. All the evidence points towards it and I just... *sighs* Derpy I don't mind so much about, that was pretty freaking fair considering how all those idiots acted to her voice being slightly changed and her canon name being unspoken. I was disappointed too, but death threats, campaigns, and attacks on people who said they didn't mind so much. Really? Product is obviously fake by the way, it doesn't show what it is and it's just a bunch of dA vectors. Sweetie Belle and Seaponies are even written on it.
Whenever I hear something like this i always go to myself: "Okay, this might be able to work. They've been able to make stuff i wouldn't expect to work before somehow manage to be good, so maybe this is the same." Then I just hope that I'm right.
its not real its from one of the various MLP Bootleg toys. In fact the actual toy inside of the boxes still have the old G2/G3 designs, the box art is pretty much a lie in every way possible XD.
My reasons are: 1. A bunch of immature bronies will kick off and start some huge-ass drama over it, no doubt almost tearing the fandom apart in the process because they're upset by the change. 2. It's rumoured Twilight Sparkle will be an alicorn, and this is because Hasbro just want to sell more toys, which means the episodes might decrease in quality because Hasbro are taking more control of the show where they'll just try and sell toys. 3. Twilight. As an alicorn? Twilight's awesome because she's a unicorn who can do extraordinary things. Can you honestly imagine a season with her as an alicorn? That makes her more powerful and unequal to her friends. Guess friendship isn't magic after all.
I'll have the most tantrumest tantrum if anyone becomes alicorn permanently. If anything was to happen, however, I'm willing to bet Twilight's gonna turn it down so as to remain with her friends. The Alicorn thing could just last a matter of seconds. It's unlikely to stop me liking MLP anyway, even if it's more permanent- I just wont watch any of the newer ones... xD Also, the closer-knit thing Hasbro's supposedly doing can go one of two ways. It can make the show more comercial, lower its quality and ruin it simply to push some toys, or it could just mean that the toys are more related to the show while still allowing the show freedom, meaning that we'd get the same quality for the show, and more merch. That is if this whole thing is any more than a rumour, which is unlikely anyways.
Yeah pretty much my thoughts on the whole thing, but I wouldn't stop watching I'd just be sad the fandom would disperse considerably.
I complety agree with you it would make since for Twilight Sparkle but not for the other five members of The Mane Six besides then Hasbro would have to rename the show My Little Alicorn: Eternal Life is Forever or something like that.
