The rain pounded hard on the streets of the desolate city. Car after car as still as statues, some cars crashed years ago. It was dotted with people that were not people, but rather monstrosities with lifeless eyes and dead flesh. They were moving like large group of half-blind mentally-handicaps; crawling around and walking so sluggishly, sometimes merely just bumping their heads into brick walls repeatedly. Some scurried around trash cans, and skinny ones attempted to eat one another, merely gnawing on their legs and such. Green circles glowed out of the dark abyss inside the hood of the creature, whose intelligence remained with fragments of a shattered memory. Inhuman desires and mutations, as well as the occasional snap of reality were the things that separated the monster and humanity. He was tall, very tall, and his large boot peeked out of the window as he looked onto the darkened corpse of a land. His large hands, armed with large claws, as well as his sharp teeth residing in a mouth stained with a wet black and dried dark-red were his weapons, and worked well with the curse that he was given. He suddenly jumped out of the window, and the rush of adrenaline came to him. It was like a drug as he fell from the top of a eighty-five story building, and then he started running down, and he felt the wind on his face. He then jumped on the twentieth story, leaping inhumanly far onto a bill-board sign of another building... he smelled human...
Evelyn walked down the old streets, her boots clicking against the cracked pavement. She glanced to the sky, remembering a time when the rain brought tranquility, and not worry. Not fear. Looking out the window of the abandoned sports shop Justin smiled, "at least this was dry." he said to him self, while checking all the weapons on his back making sure they wouldn't hit one another and make noise.
The silhouette of the monster crawled upon the rooftops, following the sounds of the clicks of the boots. The shine of his eyes glowed through the dark of the clouds, and the heavens' tears barely obscured them. He looked at the dog, and suddenly bits and pieces of memory flooded into his mind's eye... a dog, a German shepherd, pouncing on him, licking his face, the warm, rough tongue on his cheek as the large man laid on the grass... but the creature came back to his senses. He looked down at the girl, a mix of drool and tar-like blood leaking from his mouth as he walked on all fours up high.....
Gripping one of her daggers in her hands, Evelyn kept her eyes open. She spotted a grocery store ahead. Two walkers were in her way. She took her daggers and stabbed one as she passed. Alice leaped at the other, and they both approached the store when finished. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Looking out to the street Justin say this display of new found skills in this world, thinking out loud, "Wow you don't see that to often, maybe I should go introduce my self." as he stands up a bit more.
The monster peeked over the ledge, watching his prey from the dark, his glowing green eyes peering at the two humans. He stealthily leaped over to the roof of the store. Digging his claws into the wall, he crawled over to a window on the second floor of the building, a small office, probably where the manager would have been when the city was filled with people. Crawling on all fours, he went over to the stairs, and climbed onto the side of the wall, heading down, and latching onto the ceiling to stalk his prey in the dark shadows...
The wood covering the door was weak and rotten. Evelyn looked at it carefully, and then turned to Alice. "Keep watch, Alice." she said softly. The dog sat, and watched, tail erect. Evelyn smiled, and turned back to the door. She pulled out a dagger, and cut through the wood like warm cheese. One stubborn plank refused to give in, so she returned the dagger to its sheath, wrapped her arms around it, and pulled. With a grunt, the piece came loose, and Evelyn stumbled. She managed not to fall, and turned the doorknob, opening the door to reveal the dark room inside. "Bound to be a few walkers in here, Alice." murmured Evelyn. "Be ready." She flicked a light switch, turning on two flickering light bulbs, enough to illuminate the room. They entered the room, and heard growling from a corner, but with a swipe of the knife, the crisis was averted.
Pulling out his machete, Justin walks across the street taking care of two infected with swift blows to the neck, be for entering the building.
A man walked in the empty streets, his steel point military boots kick some of the ashes. He continued walking down the path, seeing a grocery store. He enjoyed the silence, it was his ally and friend, it helps him keep alert. Christopher Sauria, a survivor of the many hordes he has fought head on was a dangerous survivor, not trusting anyone that he came across unless they had a few things to trade for. He heard a low growl in the distance and hid in the shadows, searching for the growl. It sounded like a dog, but you can never be too sure…
The creature listened from above, and observed his surroundings... it was too confined. He had to wait for them to get outside or sleep or separate or something. He fell silently to the floor, just a nearly inaudible thump. He could feel the vibrations of heart poundings through the floor, and smell and hear his prey's exact location. The dark hid him, and he could see well with his nocturnal eyes.
Christopher made his way down the street until he heard something behind him. He quickly turned pointed his weapon at the direction of the noise, it was an Australian Shepard, a Red Heeler. He looked at it, checking it over. It wasn't infected. He looked at the collar around its neck, seeing no name. He then decided that he might as well need the company of an animal, so, he named the dog Rusty. The dog was a male, "Come on." The dog followed, staying by the mans side, it was probably trained too, that would be a bonus. Christopher saw some objects in the distance, he crouched, grabbing the FMG (Folding machine gun, it exists) from its holster. He aimed carefully, making sure he was out of site. The dog growled lowly, but too loud.
"My, I don't know about that I might make him sick if he did that." He says with a smile on his face.
Christopher was finally at the store, signaling for Rusty to stay. He snuck into the store unnoticed and saw to individuals, he aimed the AERES (FMG) at them and stepped into the light, "I suppose your not friendly." Christopher could hear the breathing of the two individuals, he grabbed out the shotgun and pointed it at the male, the AERES at the female. Though something was off to him, there was another around here, he would have to be careful.
Her dog growled, and barked viciously. Evelyn took out her other dagger. "Please, both of you, just leave. I want nothing to do with either of you. I got into this place. Don't you dare come rob me now."
Christopher looked at the female, "Who said anything about robbing you? I'm just passing through, looking for supplies, found a Heeler recently. Put your weapon down and I'll lower mine."
