EVERYPONY. I AM CURRENTLY FACING A LIFE CHANGING DECISIONS. and it is.... weather or not I should open my MLP toys. I've had them for like a month now, and they are still in their packaging. I can't bring myself to open them. ;-; So I dunno weather I should open them or like, buy more ponies.
FIRST THINGS FIRST, JUST BREATH. Now. What would you do if you opened them. Would you be like, brushing them and stuff?
Tricky... sometimes I have to consider the same decision myself. You must do what you feel is right, of course!
You know, with me helping some other members with their more serious problems, you scared the heck out of me...*whew* It depends on what you would do with them once opened. If you're gonna arrange them nicely on a shelf or something, sure. If you're just gonna toss them in a drawer after a few days, you should just keep them in the box for now.
Bah! I have many ponies, and they'll stay in their boxes. If I feel the exuberant need to open one, I'll buy another so that I can keep the original in minty fresh condition. </obsessedmuch>
This is a very deep and personal decision that only you can make. I will not give advice, neither to say yay or nay, but only speak of what I would do, should I have pony toys: Open them suckers and comb them! Again, this is just what I would do - your decision may be different, with far-reaching consequences.
Oh my.........at the same as Zhepyr I thought thas was a serious problem when I read the title, I get scared too XD. haha ..... Well OK, what I think is that you choose what to do whit your toys, if keep its like collection or open its to...........play or do whathever you want whit them, personaly (just my opinion) Iprefer open its to ......... play a little or put them in places around my room for decoration XD, anyway, I dont think this decision is too hard
Well, I'll admit I opened my brushables, and even tried to make their hair more... like in the show. (failed epically ) But I'm not collecting for them to be collectibles, I know they won't be collectibles while I'm alive. Probably not for a while after that either, as there are so many made.... Now my pony toys sit near my window looking... awesome. I don't know why, but I don't have much of an urge to keep them in the boxes... I collect them for fun is all, as figurines of sorts.
Don't try to mess with their manes if they are curly, Pony manes are VERY delicate. You will feel a lot of anxiety when you are opening the package but just breath. Make sure not to touch them too much. Pony toys are very dangerous to your mental health.
Wow I was expecting this to be another depressing thread when I saw the title. I'm glad that is the worse of your problems. Personally I would open the packaging and throw it away and put the ponies on my vlog shelf.
if you open them,do nt touch them,and ut them in a tmpature controlled box with vieweing window on all sides,then wait until hasbro realses show accurate pony
I'm having the same dilemma right now. I mean, I'd love to have Fluttershy at my desk to provide an ear-deafening "Woohoo! You rock!" Every time I finish a math question... but the boxing just looks so nice that I feel bad taking a pair of scissors to it. However, I have resolved to open it anyways! I invite you to join me in enjoying having the figurines, because you only live once! XD

Meh, Open it. They will provide more enjoyment on your desk then in the packaging. I Doubt FIM toys will ever be considered as highly collectible. Even like 30 years from now. Although on the other hand as with any children's toys, the majority of them get abused over the years (By kids playing with them). so in the future if you have a mint unopened box it could be worth some cash, provided MLP stays popular enough. But thats more for stuff like original spider man action figures from the 80's and stuff like that. Because spider man is still popular today.
I'd leave them in the package until needed. (Unless they are individual ones.) If you don't want to mess them up, just buy a second set. :derpe:
