Alright so I know all you fighting game-loving Bronies out there are mad-hyped for Fighting is Magic. I know I am, at least. So I wanna ask: 1. Who will you initially play as from the mane 6? 2. They have said that 11 more playable characters will be in it. Any guesses as to? Some may be a bit obvious, though.
1) Applejack (she'd look like the strongest) 2) Trixie, Gilda, Big Mac, Cutie Mark Crusaders? I'm not too sure but they said it'd only be season 1 characters. So unfortunately no Discord or FlimFlam brothers Although the game will still take a while to make so I'm not expecting it anytime soon. There's a lot to do and they're trying to make each character different rather than a change of colour-palette. I know that when it does come out, it'll be worth the wait.

Any more characters they decide to add will be available as DLC. Anyways, I would most likely start out with Twilight, her one epic finishing move looks awesome, or Pinkie because her moves are hilarious. I'd probably end up trying every character.
Yes, everything to do with the game is (currently) free. That was one of their original announcements, and it says it about 20 times in the FAQ. Don't see them changing that anytime soon.
Yay :3 My bets: They didn't deny that there would be bosses in the story mode. I'm willing to bet Nightmare Moon will be one. Heck, by that logic, the Shadowbolts, the River Serpent, and the Manticore would all be bosses.

The shadow of a bear and a Manticore... I'm guessing special attacks because- Why Fluttershy? Why set them up like that with them being behind her and her smiling like that and Angel all like "Try somethin'." That's my bet, anyways.
Celestia, if she's in it... Luna/Nightmare Moon would be pretty cool. It'd have to Rarity from the mane6 though and don't worry they can't legally charge for it even if they wanted to unless Hasbro buys them out/gives them permission.
I will have two characters who I think I'll play as most- They'll be a sort of Meta Knight and Yoshi to me. First up, Rainbow Dash of coarse. I love a good bit of speed in a fight, I'll be here, then there- You wont know what happenin yo. I'll also be Pinkie, because she crazy. And I think she'd be an awesome character to fight as. And her tune is best tune. Have you heard it?It's awesome. I'll probably be Gilda too, if she's there. She shall be my Sonic. Oh, and other characters? That's easy. 1)2)3)CMC, most probably. 4)Derpy 5)Luna (Also, counts for Nightmare Moon, maybe can change... Like Zelda into Sheik) 6)Celestia 7)Spike 8)Discord 9)Chrysalis 10)Trixie 11)GILDA. If they don't add all these, I shall be writing an angry letter to them.

I intend on playing Pinkie Pie. My favourite pony and I love the fighting theme that Whitetail made for her! It's gonna be fun! I also hope Trixie and Luna will be in it, I'll play as them too.
I'm totally gonna kick some flank as Twilight. I really seem to like her moveset! Also... Q: Will the characters in the roster be only ponies? A: We have at least one non-pony character. Begin guessing the non-pony character. I bet it's Spike.

(Remember BagpipeBrony's Big Mac Fighting Theme, "Party With The Apple Family"?) They will likely include Discord and Chrysalis, but Chrysalis, Cadance (wtf spelling?), and Shining Armor are quite new. I will learn and master Nightmare Moon! ...Though I'm actually terrible at fighting games. I don't have a stick and using a flaky PS2 controller is really hard to combo with. (I had/have Blazblue CT and can't combo to save my life.)
