I've bought 14 of the 20 covers for issue #1 so far. gonna try to get at least 2 more. Also pre-orded the RE cover at my local comic shop for Issue #2 as well as the Doctor Whooves & Larry's comics for #2 as well, and looking forward to pre-ordering the Gangnam style cover for issue #3. Anywho I loved the first issue of the comic myself, the art is SPECTACULAR! Andy Price was born to draw this book, just like Katie Cook was born to write it! My only complaint Dashie is missing her wings on a few panals, overall though great start to a great comic! And considering issue #1 sold over 100K i'm guessing IDW will keep it going as long as the fans are buying!!! *Knock on wood* Anywho on top of the regular monthly there is also a Micro-series starting in February, each book will focus on one of the mane six, the first issue is going to focus on Twilight and will have a RE cover drawn by MLP:FIM storyboard artist SIBSY!
The art at some points is simply gorgeous. As I noted elsewhere, Applejack seems a little out of character, but everyone else is written well. Quite good for a first issue.
