Okay, I just thought of an idea for a good forum game. It can get really complicated with the right players. How it's going to work is two people (Or four if it's team based) decide what game they're going to play. Examples are; Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, or any other card game. How you play is once you find an opponent just decide who goes first and all that stuff, then just post a picture of what card you're going to be using. It can even be custom cards like Just make sure you both agree before the battle that you can use that card, I have seen some stupid powerful pony Yu-Gi-Oh cards and those aren't fun to the other player You can even RP in the battles if you so desire. Just make sure that you create a deck BEFORE you start or it's not fair. ----------EDIT--------- Okay, I know the more complicated games like Magic the Gathering or Yu-Gi-Oh are hard to play here because you have a field that the other person can't see. You can just say something like 'I summon derp; and place one card face down (Magic/Trap field)' You could use some sort of random number thing to shuffle numbers, for example; Number every one of your cards and put 1 - (Your number of cards) into http://www.mathgoodies.com/calculators/random_no_custom.html and click enter. Then just take one off of the generator. I will try to give an example. I have 35 in my deck so I roll 1 - 35, I got 18 so I draw card 18. Now it's 1 - 34, so I roll that. Once I have my starting 5 cards I go to the main phase and place one of my monster cards and two spell cards by saying "I place one monster card faced down in defensive position and two cards face down in the magic/trap field and end my turn" Now it's their turn. They do some stuff and attack my monster in defensive mode and I flip it up "Man eater bug, destroys any monster on the field on flip up. I choose (Insert your choice here)" It's still their turn, since they don't have any other monsters on the field they are forced to end unless they have a magic or trap card of some sort.
