I have a friend who said he joined here not to long ago and he wants to make this his main forum but he can't log in for some reason, i asked him why and this is what he said. "I click log in and put in my username and password and it just bring me back to the log in pageAnd I reset my password twice" Any help please ?
Sounds like the website's cookie isn't being stored after log in. Ask him if he's set his browser to block cookies (all mainstream browsers accept all cookies by default, so this shouldn't be a problem unless he's played around with the settings), and also that he's updated his browser to its latest version. If all else fails, ask him if he can try using a different web browser or a different device/computer.
He uses chrome if that helps - - Auto Merge - - he doesn't even know his username he has been using his email to log in, im not sure if thats the problem
we figured out the problem he told me what he thought his username was and i did a simple search and found it so he tried logging in with his username instead of his email and it worked just fine, thanks for the help though.
