http://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/11/official-fim-dvd-box.html I really hate being in the wrong region. Stupid region codes. Well, I can always support the show from Itunes. I wonder what episodes this contains though.
I'm going to be REALLY picky here: - Rainbow Dash seems to be missing a certain mark on her flank... - Pinkie Pie's leg just above Rarity's ear is too high. - They never fixed Rarity's eyes on the original vector... I mean, just look at them. - A lot of minor line mistakes and missing components. Is this the final box art? ._. (I am a perfectionist... I do apologise)
Iiiiiit needs to be about 20% cooler... Nah, I'm kidding. *FANGASM* YES PLEASE!!!!!! *DROOLS* PONY ALL THE THINGS!
That and i hope it's in 3D so now i have a reason to go and buy a 3D Flat screen to have the Ponies Pop out. :3
Or holographic projections? Ala Holodeck? No! Robot ponies! We need robot ponies! Yeah, I'm getting carried away. But I'm buying this, even if it is just five episodes. Which means there'll be about five of these releases. So, pre-order at $12, that would make $60 total. Totally. Worth. It.
I noticed Rainbow's missing cutie mark right away. But after looking around I noticed the other things you mentioned. And yes Rarity's eye creeps me out. It's like bulged and misshapen. And don't apologize about your perfectionism, I'm the same way! It says that this will be geared towards children, and most kids probably wouldn't notice these things, which is the reason they probably weren't extremely picky with the design. But that shouldn't be an excuse, we deserve a good box art! Also if you look really closely at the bottom half of Pinkie's, Dash's and Twilight's bodies, you can see that they edited in their legs. Hopefully this box art isn't final and they will touch up the imperfections.
If we want a box set, we have to show the DVD makers that Bronies mean business in order to even be seriously considered as a part of the target demographic. This means getting the individual dvds as they come out and making sure a lot of them are sold, even with errors on the box.
I'm still going to buy this regardless of the errors. But I'm still hoping that the art will be fixed though.
Yes! They have good intentions, I know, but surely, there must have been one point where they looked at it and saw some of the obvious errors. :derpe: Fix ALL the vector faults!
I'm sure out of all the people who visit EQD, at least a few had to have contacted Shout! Factory about it.
