What do you expect, or hope, to see? Will one-off characters like Trixie and Gilda reappear? Who exactly is this "Discord"? Will we see the sonic rainboom again this season? Can Pinkie Pie truly see us?! XD Agreed about the rainboom and Trixie. I wouldn't mind seeing Gilda either, to be honest. There's a lot of room for character development, for her and Trixie. I think it'd be interesting if they were rivals--Gilda for Rainbow, Trixie for Twilight--but not EXACTLY villains. Your theory about Discord...sounds good to me. An evil team to counter the Elements of Harmony would be awesome. Well I do really like the library... That was actually my immediate thought--that Discord might be what influenced Luna's transformation into Nightmare Moon. It'd be interesting... AGREED. OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH 17th fd September that is so soon. I was expecting December. It's going to be hard to adjust to watching one episode at a time. I kind of want them to just keep doing what they're doing, pretend bronies don't exist. Because we didn't exist 8 months ago.Something about the show just worked. Let's not lose that magic.

Rarity, AJ, and Fluttershy are clearly shielding their eyes from something--so is Pinkie, but she's doing so happily than the others it seems. That's Pinkie Pie for ya'. Didn't someone on the crew say something about her being sort of a "Where's Waldo?" kind of character? She's probably just going to keep on bein' a BG pony that bronies will obsessively look for in each episode. Although if she had a line or two, I wouldn't mind. I'm not very attached to any fanon interpretations of Derpy--just as long as she's not completely stupid and simply, well "Ditzy", I'll be happy. Regarding Fluttershy, agreed! Indeed, the whole Discord thing is intriguing. And I didn't even consider him being a statue--I thought maybe it was a cave or maybe just a prison of stone blocks or something. 9_6 derp I know, right? Of course, remember, the airdate wasn't confirmed... ... >mfw I didn't even consider that This is a very good point. Personally, I think there might be a bit of brony fanservice, but nothing blatant. Like, moar Derpy in the background, stuff like that.
I also think AppleJack needs a really strong episode to bring up her popularity. I know this is possible since a read an episode length one shot fanfic that did an awesome job of making AppleJack a much more interesting pony. AppleJack is my third, which is high compared to most bronies. What make me like AppleJack is the fact that she is so unlike myself and this make me jealous of the attributes she has that I lack. Work Ethic being the main example. Of course more Fluttershy is a must. Twilight I think still hasn't had a particularly strong episode and I don't like how the show went from Anti-superstition in Bridle Gossip, to pro-superstition in Feeling Pinky Keen. In order to cope with this contradiction I just have to give myself a slap and remind myself of the obvious explanation, 'It's PinkiePie'. I would rather see new characters appear then see Gilda, Trixie and Luna reappear.
Believe it or not, the mane six ponies are tied at first place for me. I love them all equally. I agree, AJ REALLY needs an episode to boost her popularity. Applejack-centric episode(s)? That's one of my biggest hopes for Season Two. Indeed! Honestly, I think Twilight is still skeptical to superstition, she just accepts that Pinkie Pie is just plain unexplainable. Yes, I've thought about this as well, and I'm excited to see what new characters Season Two has in store for us! Now, here's a thought: [size=+3]Season Two Musical Numbers![/size] It was confirmed by Daniel Ingram there were going to be more than ten, less than 20 songs. Personally I can't wait for more Pinkie songs, but I'm also SUPER DUPER hoping for Rainbow Dash and Applejack songs! Not them singing in a group song like Winter Wrap-Up, briefly in Art of the Dress, or At the Gala--I mean solo songs just for them! That would be SO AWESOME! /(^3^)\
Oh yes of course, Season 2 must have more SweetyBell singing and maybe even a ballad that will earn her, her cutie mark. SweetyBell is best CMC. My favourite songs are the collaborations from all the ponies, like WinterWrapUp and At the Gala. I also think Fluttershy and AppleJack are the best singers, PinkiePie's singing voice is kind of meh.. Even Rainbow Dash is better in comparison which makes me find it annoying that she is the main singer of the show. More singing from everypony other then PinkiePie in my opinion, even though that does go against continuity.
I'm throwing money at the screen. Nothing is happening. ...I love all three. :'C Seriously though, I'm all for Sweetie Belle singing again! Much as I love Pinkie, I'll admit I'm more looking forward to the others' singing. Putting this out out there, but I bet the Season Two two-part opener will have at least one song--either part one or two.

I can't wait to hear all the new songs they come out with, and then hear what all the talented DJ's out there do with them. I'll bet that if they do a song for the alleged two part intro for season 2, they'll do it in part two like they did for season 1. I would like to hear more singing overall from the others, and I think they should do some development episodes for each character that gives them a chance to sing a solo (or even mostly solo song), akin to what they did for season 3 of Metalocalypse. As for the rumors about Discord, it should be interesting having a male antagonist in the show. I'm hoping they go for the more unpredictable angle and not have him be associated with the creation of Nightmare Moon. Also, since I'm a fan of villains, he might become my new favorite. In regards to return appearances from one shot characters, I can see Trixie returning. They definitely need to do another episode with Appleloosa and the buffalo tribe, or even have Braeburn come visit Ponyville. I can't see Gilda returning, as I don't see how it would really contribute anything besides just being a filler episode. I'm excited to see if they introduce new characters, maybe even bringing in updated versions of previous generations. There are still a lot of mythological creatures that haven't been in the show yet, either. Of course, they have to include some CMC specific episodes. I'd rather the trio not find their cutie marks yet, as I can see them doing it later on to signify they're nearing the end of the show. Which will hopefully not happen for many seasons.
