HEY I'M GRUMP I'M NOT SO GRUMP AND WE'RE THE GAME GRUMPS. Are there any fans of Game Grumps on here? Who's better: Danny or Jon? And your opinion on Steam Train?
YEP. Danny is funnier, but he will never have the 'magic' that Jon had that made the show truly memorable. Game Grumps now is still really funny, but i personally don't like Steam Train much. Don't really know why, maybe it's because of Ross.
I haven't watched GG in months, since before the change. I dunno, I just kinda lost interest. I've gotten more into Super Beard Bros.
I used to be a big fan of Game Grumps. I'd watch every new upload, browse the subreddit, I even made a bit of fan content. Jon leaving absolutely killed it for me. The chemistry between Arin and Jon was the whole show to me. It's not Game Grumps anymore, no matter how hard I try to like this new guy. Regardless, I wish the show success, there are many Game Grumps fans who can accept this change. Don't even get me started on Steam Train though.
I got into Game Grumps because of Jon. I still watch his stuff, but I don't watch Game Grumps as much anymore.
I was about to abandon GG after Jon left, but it's actually not that bad. Danny is definitely a funny guy to listen to. Steam Train is one big meh, except for when Arin joins in. I guess I just need to get used to Ross. Plus, they'rd playing Super Mario Sunshine, so that's automatically awesome.
I'm like one of the few people who don't miss Jon in the slightest. I mean, don't get me wrong, Jon was great. He was hilarious as hell and had a great dynamic with Arin, but after an entire year of just watching those two play games together, I have to admit, it got kind of boring. I much prefer Danny for a number of reasons which I don't feel like diving into right now. Ross on the other hand is kind of boring to me. Steam train /was/ boring to me, until they started bringing in Arin to tag along as well giving the show a really new feel by having 3 people on the show at once. And then Steam Rolled happened. God Yes
Game Grumps is alright, but I think my roommate is way too into it. All of his humor is just GG references and quotes. :/
Hehe, that's from JonTron's own show, which I think is hilarious. I liked Jon and Arin separately before they started doing Game Grumps, watched some of that (but not all because they put out a lot of videos and I don't have that kind of time), but then when they branched out and started doing videos without him it lost one of the main elements that had attracted me to it in the first place, so I quit watching. I only really liked a portion of their stuff anyway, that being the Naruto fighting game stuff, the Star Wars playthrough, the Zombies Ate My Neighbors videos, the Sonic 06 catastrophe and a couple other ones that have slipped my mind.
What is GG, exactly? Seems like just another Let's Play duo...and, well, I find most LPs supremely boring. Let's just say the only LPs I can sit through are The Spoony One's, and even then, they're not exactly my first choice of his vids to watch.
