Hello everypony. You may have know that the way the radio is broadcasted has switched, so out live-stream is free for actual live-streaming. Also, I felt like we do too little on the channel anyways. You may have seen Berry Punch live-stream Beat Hazard that one time, but what I have planned is larger. Other mods and I are going to live-stream different multiplayer games on the EPR live-stream (If I get permission from the bosses). Maybe every week, maybe everyday if I feel like it, so I would like to get some thoughts, opinions, or ideas from the everypony members. Such as: When should I host these events? What games should I play? Who wants to join in with the multiplaying? And what do you want to see in the stream? Here are a list of games that I can livestream, for now since I will add more later: Almost any free online game, Beat Hazard, Terraria, Sanctum, Portal 2, Spiral Knights, GMod. You can recommend games to me in this thread if you want. Like free games such as: League of Legends, TF2, Super Monday Night Combat, Brickforce, Maplestory, ETC. As long as it's free and I can multiplayer or stream it, it's good. Please tell me if you're interested in seeing or participating in these games. Also, I suck at doing commentaries, so I might invite some ponies to help keep things lively. This thread will be used as a planner, and I might make another thread that has the schedule incase you ponies want to play along with me and some other mods. That sounds like an awesome idea. I'll join in if I can. I have Portal 2 and TF2. Would that be okay?
If you have ARMA II Combines Opps then yeah, and it is amazing but you still need the ARMA II and Opporation Arrowhead to het the mod.
If these games can be bought from steam, i might be able and willing to join a few. Even if i can't, i'll be on the livestream chat anyway.
I'd be able to participate in either free games from Steam, or ones I've won off contests in the past on EPR. Another free MMORPG that we could see about giving a try is Anima. At the very least, I could help provide amusing commentary.
Firstly, I just had a look at Moonbase Alpha and that sounds awesome! I'd really like to try that out! The other thing I thought might work was something I really want to try out called Artemis. Sort of 'Star Trek' the game. You and a bunch of mates take special positions on a ship and work in those roles to fulfil a mission of some kind. The captain gets no controls and a view-screen while the other players have everything else. The captain's in charge and you in form him of what's going on so he can co-ordinate everything. Now, the demo has only three positions but it's free none the less. Worth a shot, I figured. I'm sure Minecraft will pop up as an obvious candidate but what about Terraria too? It seems about the same except with little bits of WoW thrown in, I think. Either might be good for a laugh. Perhaps try an adventure map. Or maybe try and play a game with one of the onlookers as a commentator/cameraman. If we could get a server going, we could even run a TF2 tourney. Or any multiplayer game you care to mention. Plain Sight? Spiral Knights? Soul Calibur? Tekken? Pokemon? Street Fighter? Marvel Vs Capcom? Ooo...What about really, really weird games like The Cat and The Coup or On The Rain Slick Precipice of Darkness or Don't Eat The Mushroom or The Stanley Parable or...err....Conker's Bad Fur Day? I think most of the swearing was censored in the N64 version. Or maybe Michael Jackson's Moonwalker or Sneak King or Pikmin? I could go on for a long while....Pikmin 2! See?
All three of us could be the noobsquad, because I haven't touched my version of TF2 ever since I won it. Seeing what Tyro posted reminded me that I still need to mess with my Wii and see if I can get it to work for multiplayer things. Admittedly, that would be harder to capture, but could still be a lot of fun.
I'm mostly going to organize multiplayer games instead of singleplayers. If other mods would like to, they can do LPs. So... Starting off with TF2 I guess, but I'm going to need to somehow plan what date, who, and get a server.
