It's a normal day in this genderbent version of Equestria. Ponies are walking around, going about their normal business.
(I guess I'll kick this off then, if no one else is :derpe Cinnabar was in Ponyville, having some lunch while reading the newspaper. "Man, nothing exciting every happens around here." She sighed, reading a rather bland article on the local school.
Sparks flew over town, doing flips and tricks with a smile on her face. She had just returned from some weather work and was ready to spend the rest of the day having fun in the sky.
Tress sat on the train to Ponyville from Canterlot, levitating a clipboard and a quill in front of him, going through a list of things he would need for the Mark Co move to Ponyville. Canterlot was a great place for business headquarters and all, but he was wanting to expand the business to a small town to help reinforce the whole 'Family business' thing behind Mark Co. "I wonder what Dad would think of this." He muttered as the train chugged on towards Ponyville.
Cinnabar finished her lunch. "Might as well just fly for the rest of the day. Considering there's nothing of interest going on." Cinnabar muttered to herself, stretching her wings.
Sparks zipped through the air, practicing old tricks and coming up with new ones, a bright fire blazing behind her. She let out a cheer and darted up higher into the sky.
Cinnabar took to the sky, blowing some small objects away and kicking up some dust. She started flying straight up, just to have a good view of the surrounding area.
Tress arrived on the station of Ponyville, face still buried in the checklist, he of course was born and raised to be a businesspony ready to take over Mark Company, Equestria's largest provider of services and materials. Not even the Equestrian National Minerals Association had near the output of Mark Co's, and that only cemented their monopoly on that particular industry. In services, they were a huge face in the industry, though not quite the monopoly that they have in the minerals industry. Tress knew that if he didn't run Mark Co properly, all of Equestria would suffer for it, hence why he chose the small, countryside town of Ponyville to be the new Mark Co headquarters, to get away from the stresses of the city and into a more peaceful setting. Tress took the luggage cart on which all his things were on with a simple "Thank you." and some extra bits he had on him. "Now, first things first, find a house." He muttered, "Second, build a Mark Co headquarters building, Third, profit."
Soon, she had flown as far up as she wanted to, then closed her wings and began to fall. Mid-air, she began to position her nose to the ground and smiled at the wind pushing up against her face.
Tress looked up to see a pegasus free-falling down towards him. His eyes widened as he ducked for cover, unused to pegasus flying due to him being raised in Canterlot, a place not exactly famous for its 'abundance' of pegasi.
As she neared the ground, Sparks released her wings and began to slow, then gently landed on the ground. She looked over at a stallion cowering. She simply chuckled at the sight.
As Cinnabar was flying up, she saw another pesasi free-falling straight down. "That's... new... eh, I'm sure she'll be fine." She said, still amazed. (This'll be my last post for the night, got a important test tomorrow, gotta get to bed early.)
Tress narrowed his eyes at the chuckling mare and brushed himself off, "Ah, well hello, I am wondering if you could point me in the direction of a house for sale. Name's Tress, Tress Mark."
"They call me Sparks." She said to Tress, "And sorry, friend, but I have no idea which house are for sale. You'll have to look around for yourself."
Tress frowned, both at the fact that Sparks couldn't help him and that his name apparently didn't ring any bells, he was used to ponies instantly recognizing him upon telling his name, "Well, that's too bad. Well, is there anything I should know about Ponyville, Sparks?"
Silver arrow was walking down the streets of ponyville. Saying good morning to everypony. She was known throughout ponyville due to her charitable work and her skill in archery, which led to her archery training centre to be a hit. She then noticed Tress near the station. Silver knew it was Tress as she saw her picture in Forbes magazine. She then went up to him. "um, hi my names silver arrow. I run the sherwood archery training centre. Ranked 18th in equestria's richest entrepreneurs. It's a pleasure meeting number two. Need any help".
Tress looked to the pony that suddenly introduced herself, "Number 2?" he asked coyly, "Unless Celestia suddenly started to count, I'm the richest pony in Equestria as far as I'm concerned. But that doesn't matter, what does matter is that I am trying to find a house so I can live in this here town."
"Come to think of it, try south street." Sparks said, flying up a bit, "I might've saw a for sale sign there."
Tress nodde in thanks to Sparks, "Thanks, I shall go check that out." And with that, he regathering his luggage and moved towards what he guessed was South Street. He floated out a small box as he walked and smiled a bit as he looked inside to it's contents, a precious family heirloom and symbol, the White Hope flower, an this one was the last one left as far as he knew. He gently closed the box and looked up to see that he had already arrived towards the edge of town, where he saw a house on a fairly large property sitting there with a For Sale By Owner sign out front. "Well, this is it." He muttered as he approached the house.
