It was back to school for Bobby, Kara and Rayne and it was a free period. Jared was in the hallway and had recognised Bobby and Kara from the party, grabbed them and dragged them into an empty janitor's closet. "You two! You were at the party right? Please tell me I'm not going crazy. You saw it too right? In the woods!" It was clear he was stressed out. His hair was messy and going slightly white (Due to the side effects of his powers) a he has dark circles under his eyes from lack of sleep. "You have to tell me you saw it too, right?... Right?"
"Er, honestly I don't remember anything from after the party broke up. I'm not even sure how I got home." There as a memory of a object, but why or where he saw the object he had no idea. Maybe it was in the woods, maybe it wasn't. He wasn't going to pretend he knew what they were talking about. He didn't know either of these two and barely recognized them from the party. A party he was only at because Ben and Tom had practically forced him into going. Why had he ended up home after the party he was supposed to have been spending the night at Ben's.
"Thank God... I thought I was going crazy." He sighed in relief. "Have you been experiencing any... changes recently?"
Bobby decided to leave the two to themselves. The didn't need to know what he could do, and it really didn't seem like they paid much attention to him anyway. As he left the closet he wondered if Kara had the same submersion weakness too. It was always good to know how to combat powered people. (The reply didn't really seem to fit with what Bobby said)
Jared picked up a spray bottle of window cleaner from the shelf behind them and the liquid inside began to freeze slowly.
Kara frowned. "...we should keep this to ourselves as much as posssible" she said before noticing Bobby's departure. "Bobby?"
Bobby went to the Library as his usual for his free period. Normally he'd do his homework so he wouldn't have to do it at home, but so far the day had been surprisingly homework free, so research it was. He was curious about how his powers worked and a biology book was probably a good place to start.
"Yeah... Don't tell anyone... Maybe Bobby won't say anything. Not to be too paranoid but I hope the Government doesn't find out."
"...I don't really think that's paranoid. just common sense." Kara said, looking out into the hallway
As Bobby started studying the book he wondered how he go about getting extra clothes. It was too bad that his clothes didn't change with his body. He was lucky and his parents had been out most of the weekend so he got to play with his powers, but he didn't plan on letting them know about them. So not only was the problem buying extra clothes but where to hid them too. It sort of helped that his bed room was a formally secret room in their house so his parents didn't come down too often, but his siblings had an annoying habit of entering without his permission. So many things to think about thanks to his powers. He wondered what sort of things Jered and Kara had to worry about. (I just noticed this thread is in a the wrong area. It's a non-pony RP)
"Okay. Just don't tell anyone and everything will be fine" Jared said exiting the room and heading down the hallway.
Bobby closed the book he was reading, he felt swelling starting in his chest. Multitasking was always a strong suit of his, he could doodle in class and still hear what the teacher was saying. Now he was worried that instead of doodling in class he'd start to shapeshift, just as head almost done while reading about female anatomy. While over the weekend he consciously controlled his changes, if they could be subconsciously controlled as well, it might be difficult to keep his power a secret.
Kala walked through the hall. this was an interesting development..... she blinked as she walked through a wall and almost into the next room. she stepped back into the hall. "controlling that at school is going to be a problem" she muttered. she hurried to the library.
Jared walked into his next class and sat down at the back. He didn't want anyone to talk to him and accidentally show off his power. He got on with his work and wanted to leave a s soon as possible.
