    Hello! I hope you know what GLA is... And NLR? You have to know! Ok...Ok let's start

    I played C&C Generals 1 week ago. And when I played as GLA, and listed to NLR music. I got feeling about that... They're almost same.

    I have no idea what it means either...

    When you post something, please put some effort in making it understandable for everyone.

    GLA= Global Liberation Army They are a middle Eastern Terrorist group.

    NLR= It's been a while since I played Generals, but I do believe the NLR is China's forces that have better fighting technology.

    But like I said, It's been a while since i played Generals so I could be wrong. I don't know what the direct acronym is though, it could be National Liberation Republic.

    And yes I did notice some form of Similarity between the two, but they still have their strengths and weaknesses

    GLA = Global Liberation Army (Command & Conquer: Generals terrorist faction)

    NLR = New Lunar Republic

    Specifically, OP is referring to the song "For the New Lunar Republic" by Not A Clever Pony. The song is an EBM track with elements of industrial and marching (war) music.

    AK-47 .... for everyone!! *yeaaaaaaah!*
    Yes, I do recognize the similarities between the two groups, specifically their means and their causes. China in real life is the PLA, but in-game it's just China.

    The thread sort of derailed. OP was drawing similarities between the GLA faction in C&C: Generals and the NLR from the fandom (and the similarities in music). At best, they're extremely vague in relation and share few similar ideas. The GLA is pretty much the equivalent Al Qaeda in that game, where the NLR is more like a spirited idea.

    The New Lunar Republic was the imagination of an army that supported Luna and rebelled against the Solar Empire of Celestia (thus the propaganda poster images). The two factions would clash as Luna is bitter with her banishment and others feel that Celestia has become a tyrant. That's one of the interpretations of the story anyway. It's more of a meme in the fandom, though. Much fanworks have been produced and NACP's track is basically what popularized it.
