Stumbled across the news of the radio, decided to jump in. I'm TeK, I live in a desert (I can tell you how much fun that is). I attend radio broadcasting class as an audio producer making sweepers and such (I'd be willing to help with that). I like to do other audio productions with some friends, whilst it be a little skit or something of the variation. I play and write a little bit of music, write a little poetry, and tend to write a lot of scripts. I work with one of my best friends for a website (One of which we're still trying to attain a host) that would be a lot of different multimedia things, such as my audio skits and his flash cartoons. I found MLP:FiM a while back when my friend found it and started praising it. I ignored it a little at first, being a little busy at the time (Actually, very busy). I finally got some down time and just decided to watch it. Nothing pressuring me at all; falling in love with it instantly. I used to make sprites (and comics with said sprites) and I frequent a web-comic hosting website where MLP became huge, so I got to spread my love a little bit. I've also successfully converted the lot of my friends into watching it (and later falling in love themselves). Last minute info... I'm a high school male, senior, I'm not gay but am pretty flamboyant (as odd as that sounds), and overall just love having a good time. I have a skype (Ryoku3125) and open to friending anyone on it. All I got left to say is tell me about yourselves? I can look around the intro board for that, I suppose...
Hey there, welcome to Everypony (both of you I guess ^^) Great to have you! I'm Grey one of the two administrators here, so you won't find an intro thread about me and my bio could do with some fleshing out ^^I enjoy doing a lot of things, I have so many crazy ideas I tend to never finish one before another 'better' idea comes along, which tends to mean I have lityle productive work/evidence to my name. Uh anyway I won't bore you with my life story but here's a quick rundown: I deal with all site's technical aspects so if you spot any problems or have any suggestions don't hesitate to throw me a pm/vm or catch me in the chat.I like reading, drawing, writing, playing / modding games and a whole variety of creative crap to give my bizarre ideas and creations material form.Well there's me, I hope to see you around and active, enjoy your time at everypony friend
Can't say I disagree about the "This is a good ide- This is an even BETTER idea!" thing going on. There's a project Spoon and I have been "working" on for almost two years and haven't really done anything. We're too busy trying to get a website we're too lazy to work for I'm loving some of these emoticons, though.
Yeah, "working" on it is right. We're also "working" on that flash series we wanted to do. C: I also love the emoticons. So awesome.
The emoticons are by Jaret, the more arty admin here, I'm sure his ears are burning right about now . Have you guys tried grabbing some free hosting? It's not perfect and you don't get what you don't pay for but it's a good start and an experience nonetheless. Www.webs.com and www.000webhost.com both do free hosting packages to one degree or another, obviously with heavy limits but worth checking out at any rate!
I use godaddy for hosting, if anything. Welcome, hey, it's another radio brony! (Used to be on a radio show here in Whinnypeg many a year ago. I hate myself for being so crappy, though, gotten a lot better, DJ in school) Enjoy your stay! Before I forget, don't drink the punch.
Well hey, that's pretty awesome So at least I'm not completely alone on the "being on a radio" thing.
Heh, in case you didn't know, I'm one of the four DJs on the stream and composers. I tend to draw, program, write, develop, and do a lot of stuff quite a bit, so you might see me everywhere. Don't be intimidated.
I didn't even realize there were DJ's, I keep going to the stream during auto. Let's see here, I kinda write music, not a whole lot. I draw sometimes, write a lot, and that's about it. Can't say I'm intimidated, moreso impressed that you happen to be a jack of all trades, or so it seems
Sorry, if I could host 20 hours a day, I'd be more than happy to. I just have a lot on my plate at all times. Nice to see you're not intimidated, I just practised a lot in everything over the 15 years I have lived. Do I know a lot? Not even close. I'm only fluent in 4 languages (if you count my basic knowledge in French as fluent) and I manage a high enough IQ to get into MENSA, but I am no way truly smart. I have a lot to learn in the 70 years to come (if we don't find a way to reverse aging, which is possible, but keep all knowledge).
Fluent in 4? I know English, basic Spanish and French and hardly any Japanese, so you've got me beat there. I wouldn't necessarily call people smart, just more well rounded in areas - no one's a perfect jack of all trades.
