Hello my fellow bronies!* I originally took interest from this fandom from lurking the Minecraft forums (who knows why) and I noticed that half, if not more of the avatars/sigs were pony related. I had know idea what this craze was. When I was making my regular rounds on Know Your Meme, I noticed, under currently trending was My Little Pony. Having seen the avatars on the Minecraft forums, I clicked it. I approached it optimistically (I never thought "omg this is so gay" or something) it looked like something cool and new that the Internet had to offer. After reading the entire Know Your Meme article, I was laughing, saying to myself "oh my god I'm going to have to watch at least one episode!"* So when I got to YouTube on episode two (being intrigued enough to watch past the first one) I started to read the comments. It was remarkable to see so many guys like me loving the show. It was that day (April 11) that I became a brony and had developed "just one more episode" syndrome like so many others. I went on to find out more about the series and check websites (such as EqD) to learn more about this fandom. By the time the next episode was ready to come out, I had watched them all up to that point and I was checking EqD so much I was reloading the page. At this point, I lurked everywhere and didn't really participate in the community at all. Only recently have I started uploading various self-made images and making a few anonymous comments. Today I have decided to make a change. By joining this forum, I plan on focusing my creative energy on this fandom, creating videos, making comics or anything I *can produce within my ability with quality and not necessarily quantity.* This is the first time I have been able to actually find something which so many others share my love for and still not be "just another fandom". I am also quite pleased with my fellow bronies, spreading the word of love and tolerance. I frankly could not have asked for more. I love you guys :3 I am quite eager to try my hoof at this and get to know everypony here. *Until then, I'll be seein ya! (Sorry for any conventional errors, typed this up on my iPod while on vacation. I'll be able to add my avatar etc when I get back home.) Also: My favorite pony is Twilight Sparkle.
Oh, April 11th? Yeah, that day is special (my birthday) Anyways, awesome to see such a big "Introduction". It really isn't normal - seems like everybody who joins in here doesn't "support" leet talking much. I am happy we are building up a great comunity. On behalf of the whole Everypony comunity, I welcome you!
