Firebreeze slowly awoke in an empty room with a monitor at the top of the door. Next to him was Dark, who also appeared to be just waking up. "What the hay is this?!" He yelled out.
Dark looked around the room, red eyes darting from one place to another. She slowly got up, feeling the clinking of her Commander armor that obviously hadn't been removed. Of course, it required HER to help get it off so she wasn't surprised, "Whoever you are, you have a lot of nerve for attacking and kidnapping the Commander of the royal guard, I'm am going to guess you want ransom?" that's when she noticed Firebreeze, which made slight sense for a ransom, but she suddenly got a feeling that this was much more than just a 'pay up and here they are' kind of thing.
"Oh, good morning my friends!" A voice called out, "I see you want some answers, hm?" Fire stood up, "What the hay do you want?!" "It's a simple task, my boy," The voice said with a chuckle, "I'm going to need to both to destroy Harmony Tower."
Dark's eyes suddenly narrowed as she understood why they had captured her, for the freaking irony. What better way to send a message than have twoo defenders of Equestria, one militarily and the other from weather, destroy one of Equestria's largest symbol's of peace. "And if we don't?"
"Simple, we kill those closest to you." The voice said as a live stream of Fire's loved ones appeared on the screen. "Mom! Dad! Ember! Sarge!" Fire yelled out, "You bastard!" "Don't think we forgot about you, Miss Dark." The voice said as her loved ones appeared on the screen.
"Snow." she whispered. She didn't have any true family BUT Snow, so it was obvious that they would get her. Of course she had that one stallion…no, not here! she thought to herself.
"Now," The voice said, "I expect you two to take care of what I want done, or you can say goodbye to those you love! You may leave now!" Suddenly, the floor below them opened up and sent them out of the building an back into town.
Dark picked herself up, "Well, it appears we have three options, do as they say, find a way to outsmart them, or do nothing and let those closest to us die. What a wonderful present for my first leave in over a year!"
Fire kicked at the dirt road, getting increasingly angry, "There's gotta be something we can do! The bastards have my son!"
"Well, they never gave us a timetable for it, just a do it kinda thing, so we have plenty of time to think over this." Dark replied.
