Yeah so lately I have been feeling wide awake. So I end up going to bed at around midnight, still wide awake and wake up at 6:30am for school. I know I should go to bed earlier but I just can't... Does anyone else feel like that or is it just me?...
As a creature of the dark, I often goes to bed between midnight and 3am. Even when there's school, I usually wake up really tired and always tell myself to take a nap after school but NOOOO! I have to be so resistant against sleepiness that I'm not even tired after 9am. Full mood 'til the end of the day and still able to hold until 3am. The good thing is that when I actually go to bed (midnight - 3am) I sleep instantly. No need to wait, yay!
Mostly just random nightmares as of the past couple weeks. I rarely have issues with insomnia since my high school days.
Maybe it is due to the fact that I psychologically hate sunsets (related to end of the day/homework time/school tomorrow) and ironically loves sunrises. Plus, the night is so peaceful...
Going to bed at midnight, that would be early for me. I once had insomnia for 70 hours, couldn't get a wink of sleep.
Well it's nice to hear that I'm not the only one. I guess I could be a night person, and I guess I could have slight insomnia. And I know for sure that I have allergies... It could just be all of that.
I too have problems falling asleep, and i tend to wake up in the middle of the night. I've had this problem for so long i've gotten used to it, i mostly ignore it.
I've always had trouble sleeping.I usually just end up led in bed all night, sometimes all morning... xP Tired much'a the time. I've just never been much of a good sleeper.
I usually don't sleep at all during the night. I usually fall asleep at four in the afternoon, and wake up at around 7-8 the same night. Then there is no sleep until around four the next day
I've been having sleep related issues, but not so much with my lack of sleep, but more so with my lack of dreams. Lucid dreaming is becoming increasingly difficult and every time I enter sleep paralysis, I hear something whisper my name into my ear. I have a friend who's studying psychology, and she read that most people only NEED about 4 hours of deep sleep. Of course that's deep sleep, which takes a little while to get to without meds.
I've read that to be able to fall asleep easily, we mustn't do any activities that keeps our brain alerted (such as computer, TV, etc.) for 1 hour before going to bed. And if in 10 minutes we can't sleep, we would have to go to the next room, wait a little bit, and go back to bed again until it works. Also there's been talk about using the bedroom to sleep only, do your homework elsewhere. Otherwise the brain won't recognize the place as a sleeping environment. I only tried the 1 hour of reading in bed instead of staying on the computer but I ended up reading at 3am so I fell asleep easily.
