So today I got my hearing aids fitted to wear in general / TV / Gaming etc not all the time or for Music Production / DJing. However I need to get a few things altered. Does anypony that has them get 1. Tinny Sound 2. Any knock noise sound like a hammer hitting something in another room? 3. Can hear every tiny noise from a brushing against clothes to speaking in another room? Thanks
I was going to try to answer this with a natural hearing standpoint (since that's what they aim for), but as I tried to... I realized I'm surrounded by computers. While my own I don't find particularly loud, everyone on varying VoIPs have complained about my uncle's obnoxiously loud Linux server.
