This may be a bit long winded but I think its the right way to introduce myself on this forum. I'm Nick, I've been a full fledged brony for 6 months. I had never even heard of bronies until then.I was baby sitting my sister and she wanted to watch mlp on Netflix so I let her. I instantly fell inlove, with everything. The animation, the voices, the stoey, the message, the humor. It was life changing. I ended watching all of season 1 in a about a 13 hour sitting. Then I looked mlp up online and found out what a brony was. I got rid of all my old school supplies and replacreplaced them with mlp folders, note books and pencils to show my pride. I love mlp and am a proud brony and nothing can change that. That brings me to the struggle, us bronies are terribly stereotyped, I have no friends who are fellow bronies. And no one in my school is accepting, I'm constantly being calles cruel names and being asked if I fap to mlp *face hoof*. That's horrible I could never do that. My own family constantly questions my sexuality. But nothing I mean NOTHING will change how I feel, I will be a brony until I die. Also Rainbow Dash is the best, my whole room is Rainbow Dash <33333 I love love love her. Any way I hope you read it all and can share your struggles with me, all us bronies can use the power of friendship to over come the ignorance of others. Stay strong and brony on my friends -Nikki Hooves
Welcome to Everypony. It sucks that you get mistreated for liking a cartoon, but that's just how kids are. In my own experience, and from what I've read of how other Bronies are usually treated, most people don't really care one way or another. My advice to you is to not take yourself so seriously. You're a teenage boy that watches a show about magical talking ponies. No matter how you look at it, that's ridiculous. When people laugh at you, learn to laugh with with them.
A warm welcome to you. It's a shame people make assumptions but that's just kid's being kid's. like Ridley said, just learn to laugh with people. P.s Rarity is also best pony
A bit presumptuous to say we all share the same struggle. People handle things in different ways. Find what works for you. I'd start with what Ridley said. At any rate, welcome to Everypony forums. You won't get teased for liking ponies here!
