Hello all! I've been a fan of MLP since the 80s, but with the new FiM series, I've definitely been reintroduced to my love of all things pony. My husband is a big fan of the G4 show, so naturally a collection of licensed and fan-made merchandise has started appearing in our home. I build fursuits (animal mascot costumes), costumes and props. I mostly make wardrobe for indi films, but I have made some stuff that's also appeared at Furry conventions and charity gigs. Firefly, Gusty, wingers and those bath time buddies sea ponies. Loved 'em! I love seeing what people do to restore old ponies, and customizing them with neat colour schemes and hairdos. I also have much love for all the plushy makers who build such great canon ponies & OCs! I have high hopes of building my hubs a collection of the G4 mane six and perhaps a costume if he can ever decide what his 'ponysona' would be. ; ) I'm still working out a sewing pattern for the perfect G1-style poses so I can accurately capture my geekiness. I'm not very used to using forums, so please forgive any faux pas till I acclimatize myself! Wellcome. I see your costumes are very well detailed. They must cost a fortune. I'm not into those things though but it is nice to see high quality ones.
