Hello all bronies, My name is Lex and I'm doing some correlation research prior to an actual study for university. I'm not a brony myself but have come across the fandom objectively and have no real opinion on it. I feel like most research into the brony fandom has been bias so far (often presenting it negatively, would you agree?) I want to see if there is a correlation between diagnosed mental illness and fandom of any kind and to combat any myths associated with MLP fandom. (Obligatory Greeting) I hate to tell you this, but you might have some difficulty with your research. The Brony fandom is so massive and diverse that any attempts to understand it are doomed to failure.
Hey there good to meet you Yes i am aware of this but thank you! At the moment its only correlation research so if there really is no strong patterns then it will not continue onto anything bigger.
