Hello everypony! My name is Sterling, but I go by the name SilverBlaze or Blaze for short. I started watching MLP FiM after my brother told me to watch the first couple episodes. He had only seen about three of the episodes, but soon after I watched the first one, I blew past my brother and was at episode 7 before he even watched the 4th episode. I ended up watching all the episodes that were available in about 3-4 days. After that, I new I was full blown brony. I still hide it from certain people, but that's just for personal reasons. other than that, I'm proud to be known as a brony. I personally find the show to be one of the best cartoons ever created. the characters, the animation, the story. I refrain from using the word plot because of all the gross meanings allot of people have given the word. Although every now and then I make a joke about it. I am still in the process of designing my OC, but i haven't had much time to really draw him out. You can see some of the art i've made on my Deviant Art account under "SilverBlazeBrony" since just "silverblaze" was taken by I don't know who... i tried to find the user, but they just don't seem to exist on DA. other than MLP, I'm into all sorts of science and technology, including quantum physics and astronomy. I was home schooled and work as a 3D modeler at a game studio. In my free time, I make music and delve into programming and animation.

I'm finishing up my last year doing undergrad animation, heading out next year to work on the more techie side of things in grad school, hopefully working in some augmented reality stuff. Learned how to use zBrush this year and holy guacamole do I looooove it to death. Like, if I could just zBrush from now until forever I'd be the happiest happy pony. Also, welcome!
Thanks! I've actually learned everything about 3D modeling on my own in my free time. I have only ever used open source/free software. Congratulations on your last year of animation! I hope you do very well. I took a mini course on animation a while ago just to get a feel for a collage I was thinking about going to, but after that, I started hearing allot of bad thing about the collage. Too bad for them, they lost a very talented student. lol

Welcome to the Herd... Wow, I haven't even been here a full 24 hours yet and I feel very much a part of it. I hope your experience is much like mine and you make friends very quickly. I've already found that people here really live the morals that are taught on the shows. I've still only seen 6 episodes myself. I'd be watching one right now but I am still at work.
Welcome to the herd! You seem very creative, myself I draw and I love all sorts of animation, I haven't tried working with 3D yet though. I have been animating stopmotion for a few years, but when I became a brony I have been struggling to learn flash animation so that I hopefully can make animations with ponies in the future. It's very similar to stopmotion animation, and I can imagine 3D animation is too. When I start high-school, I'm going for "Digital Art". Then, they will let me have a laptop and programs like Maya and PhotoShop, which will be very, very Awesome to play around with. (Finally I will have classes in school I'm actually interested in) But I will have to wait until after the summer vacation.
