for me i have a pet iguana, her name is Yoshi. i will post a spoiler image of what her and i both look like at the end of the thread. my iguana is 4 and a half years old and will be 5 in september. i had a pet snake but i had to give it to my aunt angel who lives about 3 miles and is currently taking care of it for me till i can get some money to take care of it myself. the snake is a ball python female named Monti. i once had a dog named petey which lived to be 15 years of age who i had to get put down due to cancer, he was put down december 31st 2009, and i really miss him. as for the littler iguana his name was oceanic and she was a rescue i had for bout a year when i nursed her back to health. the following winter was so cold she got sick and passed away February first and didnt recover. as for my favorite animal i would have to say it would be the iguanas and dolphins. i love Marian life. I had some goldfishes, one of which lived to the age of 15 years old. We never got round to naming them though.
Well my dog died last month, so yeah, R.I.P Tess. Favourite animal is actually horses. Horses have actually been my favourite animal for years, just the way they look, and act, and do some tricks. They're very majestic, and they look beautiful. I pop in now and then to a horse farm not too far from my house for some riding (yes I ride horses), and it's a lot more emotional bonding than donkey rides on Blackpool beach I'll tell you that. Horses are loyal, and if you treat them correctly, they won't hurt you or anything, which is just great.
Two dogs, both of whom have cemented my disliking of dogs. Cats are most certainly the greatest animals.
27 mice (call me crazy...), 2 dogs, 3 cats, a snake, a chinchilla, and 2 frogs... And about 15 assorted fish.
I'm not a big animal person but (call me crazy) I've always found bats to be sorta cute. If it were legal,I would totally get a flying fruit bat as a pet. They look like.... Well cute flying foxes. A the same time if I had the land, I would get a horse or 2. In the back of my mind I've always wanted to learn to ride horses, even before MLP. BUT since I cannot do either, I'll settle with a bulldog or something.

We have 3 dogs and a parrot at my house. One of the dogs is really old and we're not quite sure how she's still alive. She needs help doing anything, is blind and deaf, and can barely walk around. Yet she still carries on. We also have a black lab mix. We're not sure what it's mixed with, but it's considerably bigger than a black lab should be. We also have a Sheltie. She may also be a mix, but her features are primarily Shetland. As for favorite animal, avoiding the obvious "PONIES!!", I really like bottle-nose dolphins. Here's my Sheltie.

My family has a dog. He's half poodle, half golden retriever, and all HUGE. My favorite animal would have to be either the wolf or the hawk. Wolves don't make practical pets, but some animal trainers own hawks. Still, I would rather that animals ran free in the wild. The concept of owning and caging another living thing seems wrong to me. Despite that, I would take in an animal from a shelter that would just put it down anyway.
I have a a Springer Spaniel/Border Collie (or, 'Sprollie' for short) named Rocky. He's closing in on four years old in June and has been as mad as a box of frogs since the day we got him. Its why we love him, absolutely nothing boring about him, he never fails to make you smile and loves any attention he gets. He's also a speed demon who can't get enough exercise, so I think he would have made a perfect pet for Rainbow Dash In the time I've have had him, I've found that it's true what people say, a dog truly is a man's best friend. Also, I am aware this page is nearly a year. I'm just really bored at this moment in time.
Currently, I have a dog named Kenobi and a bunny (Princess Bun Bun McCloud). I've had a lot of pets over the years, though. Kitties, dogs, guinea pigs and hamsters. ^_^
These pictures are pretty old, but she's still my favorite dog. Her name is Luna(happy coincidence) and she's around 9 years old.
