Hey there! I detest introductions: I love talking about myself, but only when I have questions to build off of. So let's see how this goes... My name is Kolth/Scoutaloo. This fall, I'm going to be a senior in high school. My big hobbies include running (I'm on the cross-country and track teams), writing (which I will touch on in a sec), and photography (although I pretty much suck at it). Writing has been a passion of mine since I was old enough to read. The only problem: I can't, for the life of me, write a short story. I'm always stuck going into the "Now what?" and "What would happen if..." and pretty soon the story is hundreds of thousands of words long. Oh well. I enjoy writing epic-length stories. My main Internet hangout is MLP Forums -- I actually found out about Everypony via a news post on the Forums. Hopefully I can set up shop here as well and make more friends. Anyway, thanks for listening to me rant!
Hello there! The name's Dynasty Charge, a pleasure to meet you! I don't know whether you'd happen to be aware of the post I made on MLP forums about a certain incident that occured yesterday. Fortunately things are brand new of a few days ago. So things are rather back to normal! Anyway, enough of such a thing aside. More on you. I too used to share cross-country and track running as a big hobby a couple of years ago. Done it nationally in Scotland. 100M Sprinting was my strong point on track. I also share your problem with writing short stories! I'm one of those who ends up trying as a short story and it just acts like a snowball going downhill, just builds up and I can't really stop it. I hope to see you around, and welcome to the site!
Thanks for the warm welcome! It was actually the security breach news announcement that tipped me off to this site. I'm glad I missed that fiasco. :derpe: Geez, you sprinter types. Can't do that fast work for the life of me! I need at least two laps around the track to feel complete. Yeah, the snowball effect always hits me hard. I have an idea that started last summer as a ten-chapter novella. It is now four books long. Oi vey...
