Hey there! I am known as Don Serrot. I'm relatively new to the herd, having only recently decided to finally take a look at what all the fuss was about, and coming to understand that not only is MLP:FIM amazing, but that trying to figure out why is a futile effort and I should just accept the amazingness for what it is. So a little about me, I'm a 23 year old Brony barista living in West TX, avid gamer, and aspiring webcomic writer/artist. It's my dream to one day own my own coffee house, not like a Starbucks though, more like one of those more classic smooth jazz chillax places. The place I work now is pretty close to what I want to have someday so you could say I'm living the dream already! And... that's really about it! Spoiler: I also whipped up my own Brony real quick mostly using the pony maker from DA that's been all over the place.
Hey how's it going!? I'm new to the site like you and I hope you have a blast! Oh, and would you mind giving me a link to this pony maker? Thanks!
Sure! It's at http://generalzoi.deviantart.com/art/MLP-FiM-Pony-Creator-Beta-210228500 I just had to manually add the cutie mark. It's a pretty nice little creator thingy.
Welcome, I love to see new faces on the site. Tell, what art techniques do you work with? Pixel, Digital and stuff?
I used to do some minor pixel work back when I was a bigger part of the Phoenix Wright fandom, before the Court Records site started to fall apart. My comic I'm working on now though is with a drawing tablet I had gotten a while back but never really found a good reason to use till now. My drawing style itself is still kinda crude, but the more I draw the better it starts looking, at least to me! And actually, while the comic itself is a WoW comic, tomorrow's update will have a MLP reference lol. Spoiler: WIP Preview I want to try to slip in more little things like this from time to time. XD
'Ello, let's hope you're a good artist, or we'll be throwing you out. You know, MLP set me of into wanting to draw proper cartoons, not the rubbish stick figures I used to draw with rubbish proportions. I must admit, I made a ton of 'em.
I expect you'll be having this play.
Thanks for the warm welcomes everypony! Lol, I may have to work that into the rotation Testyal1, but I was thinking something more like this. Goes down smoooooth, reaches into your soul, and pours it a cup of coffee.
