how do you make / put a profile picture up?

    Click settings, then look on the left side. There should be a white area with lots of links. Under My Settings > My Profile should be two things: Edit Avatar and Edit Profile Picture. The former is the picture we see on threads (See Mr. Barrel to my left) and Profile Picture is the one people see on your profile (Rampage, on mine).
