I recently started running and my legs are getting really strong but I don't know a way to work out my abs I know it's kinda stupid to post here of all places but just give me an honest answer How do you work out?
I've been slackig off for a long time, abd while it doesn't show that much outwardly, I can feel that I'm kind of a weakling, even moreso than I have always been. I used to ride my bike a lot more than I do now, and I used to go kayaking. I really miss kayaking.
Swimming is an excellent exercise because it works almost all your muscles. but if you are looking for exercises that you can do in the comfort of your house, then I recommend push ups, sit ups, star Jumps, crunches, and if you have something remotely like a pull up bar, then do pull ups as well. None of those exercises really need any equipment besides the pull ups.
I lounge around eating pizza and chocolate. My only form of movement comes from work. I fear one day my metabolism will slow down forcing me to actually exercise. That day is gonna suck.
Other than swimming I also take my and my brother's dogs for a walk everyday unless I just don't want to for some reason.
My narcolepsy medication gave me anorexia. I don't reccomend it! Seriously though, I used to run on my mother's treadmil while watching television. It worked well enough, and I always felt like I was walking on air afterwards. Which is epic.
I run 4 to 6 miles a day and I do parkour its pretty easy for me but I have ADHD (attention deficit hyperactive disorder) so I have too much energy to know what to do with I want to try to enter a 4k this summer
Horse riding. ^-^ I'm an equestrian jumper... so that's a lot of half-seating for the legs, my thoroughbred mare requires a lot of knee pressure to slow her down, a good strong back too comes from all this. Good ways to exercise my core.... and yeah... ^^
Bringing my dog to a nearby area with a nature walk. I can only walk him off the lead because otherwise he would dislocate my shoulder, but thankfully he's exceptionally well behaved when he's let off. Regularly visiting the gym too, always do a full cardio programme.
That's prolly a question for google there bud. As for me, mostly weight lifting. On a bulk I lift heavy and only do cardio maybe 3 times a week. On a cut I lift lighter, throwing in HIIT exercises in between sets as per a cardio acceleration regimen and then I alternate HIIT and endurance cardio each day when I get home from work on top of that. There is quite a bit more to it, but I don't really want to make a book out of it. Other than the gym stuff I go hiking, bouldering and ride my sportbike, which kinda like riding a really fast horse haha, good for the core.
I wrestled for 6 years in middle and high school. We would run 3 miles on the track, practice on the mats, then run suicide sprints on the basketball court. Of course, I graduated in '06 so I'm not in the best shape right now.
During college I used to do running and jogging at the school track, as well as some weight lifting. Since losing access to the nice facilities I've gotten more unhealthy but trying more seriously to get fit. The key is to keep at it, and push yourself as much as you can. I've gone from barely able to do push ups to doing multiple sets.
I have ran at least four miles a day for the past three weeks at the most I think I ran seven or eight
