...How did I end up here? Is it normal for 23-year old college students and writers with a deep appreciation for stuff like Dresden Files, World of Darkness, Hellsing and Kino's Journey and other stuff to randomly tumble into a group of people dedicated to equine beings who can cast magic and defeat enemeis with life lessons about friendship and the art of comic relief? Granted, I'm on the other end of the spectrum as well, liking stuff such as Angelic Layer, Kiki's Delivery Service, Dungeons and Dragons, and Artemis Fowl, which is also found amidst various other things. Maybe It's some abberatio-OH, right.

It was actually World of Darkness that got me here.

Those guys at White Wolf talked about it until you caved in and finally watched an episode...followed by another....and another....until four hours later you realized with a deep sinking sensation your soul now belong to a little girl's show...Well, not wholly, but you know what you're saying to yourse-Oh, hey, people!

Well, anyways...Hello hello! I'm Arcane(Arc for short), and, well I guess most of the information y'all need is above. Despite being a writer, I'm not much of a fanfic writer though. I do have certain ambitions in regards to MLP though, but even that might not fall on me. It belongs more in the Media part of the site, but one of the reasons I'm here is after seeing the amazing talent that's at work in the MLP community, I reckon it should be possible for fans to make a fan show of some sort of great quality. Whether it's something like a radio drama or something more ambitious is to be talked about later, but for now that's one of the two main reasons I'm here.

The other reason? Simply to jabber about something I don't get a lot of chance to jabber about, maybe RP a little. I'm not complicated.

So, uh, yeah, I think that's it. Any questions y'all have, I'm willing to answer. Otherwise, I'll see y'all in the other threads!

Hmm...Edit's a bit wonky. Oh well, also, thanks for the compliment on the intro as well. I figure a little variety in introductions are much needed, so I'm glad that worked out.

If I was smacking my face with my hoof, that would be correct, but since I'm applying my face to the keyboard like one applies appleseeds to the ground(Okay, maybe NOT quite like that), it is most certainly a faceplant.

Random fact that may or may not be a total lie: Going to jail for randomly mooning people may seem horrible, but on the off chance my life islike the Truman show it's worth it for increasing the ratings.

Then again, from Dash holding a quill and paper in each hand to Pinkie Pie in general, reality seems to just say "Screw it, do what you want".

Thanks much, I like to think I bring some fresh air with me. Then again, I love Mexican food(The real deal, stuff you on the border), so it might not be as fresh as I imagine.

I have a principle of avoiding 'state-and-runs'. Forums are for talking, and it's always worth trying to generate something to talk about. Add in that there are a thousand and one introductory posts that are straightforward, and I figured I could at least make my introduction something to chortle at.
