Your friendly neighborhood Spiderman here! I remember when the Mods came up with this idea. I am sad to have seen it died down, so I am going to resurrect it. Before I get to continuity first and foremost, how strict should we be? No WORLD CHANGING events unless initiated by the mods. Characters can be allowed to have powers and weapons as long as they ARE NOT OP. For instance, you could have my powers ( heck why web swing when you can fly? Because web swinging is cooler.) But not Wolverines. Violence should be allowed depending on the situation and RP types. If some random psycho comes out of nowhere and attacks people in a ROMANCE RP. That would be stupid. But on the topic of Violence, tread carefully. It's one thing to say your character bled from the mouth. It's another to say "SOMETHING SOMETHING SOMETHING GUTS." And don't get too graphic when it comes to death. I also suggest that we don't use the over complicated DND stats, but instead use a SIMPLE BAREBONES RTD (Roll the Dice) system. Depending on the RP. Now to continuity It's simple, we have references to each others RP's. MARVEL didn't make billions by skipping straight to the Avengers. They gave hints that it wasn't just a crossover, but a shared universe. Now that we know they all exist in the same continuity. We can make crossover RPs and such. It's rather simple as long as no one contradicts a major event or something. Another thing is that after major events are OVER. We can put them in the "Major RP Events." sub forum Canonical characters will have their own SEPERATE RULES. This will be the easiest way to avoid confusion. - - Auto Merge - - Also here are some rules about characters with special weapons and powers. I'm doing this to restrict not only godmodders, but MYSELF , since I plan on playing as a ponified version of myself as well as tons of other members who wish to add depth and uniqueness to their characters So without further ado, THE COMMANDMENTS OF SUPER POWERS, 1.Thou shalt not god mod. 2. If thou wants to be a vigilante, fine, but no world altering supervillians. Robbers and gangsters are fine as it is. 3. Just BECAUSE thou is a vigilante, doesn't make thou famous. 4. Thou shalt HAVE a personality and flaws instead of being an all powerful demigod. 5. No thou cannot be a damn draconequus This shared universe shall start with three RPs "Ponyville: The shared universe test" "Manehattan: the shared universe test" "Canterlot: The shared universe test"
