Hi everyone! So about a year ago, I guess, my boyfriend became a Brony, and several of my friends, too. I was intrigued by this, and mildly wondered to myself why the show would gather such a HUGE following. My friends never pressured me to watch the show, and so I never did. It wasn't that I was opposed to the show. I just sort of shrugged my shoulders at it and assumed it was just another internet trend that would die down after a few weeks. The longer the show stayed popular, the more puzzled I was. I found myself wishing to myself that I could just ask a bunch of Bronies why they liked the show. All of this stayed just musings in my mind, until I took Intro. to Psychology at my university. Students were required to earn "research credit" by being a test subject, or by writing 1 page reports. The idea I'd had months before sprang into my mind; Yes, I would study Bronies. I got special permission from my professor, who loved the idea (and subsequently took it upon himself to research, eventually leading him to watch an episode and decide he loved the show.) And that's where I am right now. I have not allowed myself to watch My Little Pony [yet], not until I finish tabulating my research. I made a survey to give to Bronies. There are already almost 100 responses after putting it online just last night! I have been searching for various forums and websites, asking Bronies to help me out (and they have all been SO nice!) So there's my story! If any of you would like to help me out, I would be thrilled.

I've talked to a lot of bronies, from a lot of different websites. Everyone has been very willing and happy to help, and curious about what I'm doing. And ePONYmous, I'm rather curious of how I will feel about the show as well. I've heard so many good things about it (and I have the words of over 150 bronies to back it up!) You very well may end up seeing me here again
