I have let this pony obsession go too far and It has caused me to fall behind on my real life commitments. I need to take a break from the fandom, while I get caught up on my school work. So you probably won't see me much for the next 2 weeks, or see any pony fanwork from me. I probably won't be keeping up with Equestria Daily either. I will of course watch any new episodes that come out. This will be temporary, I absolutely love this fandom, it's just that I'm loving it too much and procrastination has caught up with me. I am still neglecting the Brony Blog too, but I just done have time to keep up with that. If anyone is willing to write for and admin the blog for me while I am gone, I will give you admin access to it and love you forever. You will not need to post everyday, just as often as you have time for. I will then also make you a permanent co-admin when I get back. I love you all and I will be back.
Setzer that's completely understandable. This place won't quite be the same without your presence, but we all look forward to your return, which can't come soon enough. It's a very mature thing you're doing, and very respectable. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I am willing to help anyone with anything on these forums. Thank you for informing us about this, Setzer. I can completely understand. I'm not behind in my studies yet, but I don't think I've been taking them as seriously as I could be. So I've been contemplating a decision similar to yours. It's just that this fandom is so awesome. Maybe a little too awesome. I've been finding more enjoyment here than many other things, which may turn out to be a problem in the long-term. So, don't sweat it. I think even Twilight would agree that studies come before ponies. I'm just glad you informed us instead of just disappearing, because then we'd worry about you. Although your fanwork may take a brief hiatus, you said you'll still make a post a day. So at least you'll still be around a little. Even if you can't do that at some point, it's still understandable. Good luck with your school work. I hope you have very little trouble catching up.
I understand your decision completely Setzer, actually there are more and more things I need to do irl, so it's quiet probably that I'll need to take a break as well. Anyway good luck with settling things down, hope you will catch up easily and be able to come back as quick as possible : )
Awwww! Stupid real world! Well, I'll miss seeing your e-presence here, but I understand, and it's good to get a dose of the real world once in a while. Hmm, I might even pass you on post counts! In return, I'll make sure Zephyr doesn't take up all of Fluttershy's time.
Sigh and I am still putting of my school work for one more night. Don't worry, I haven't failed my course yet, but I'm getting close. MUST RESIST PONIES! It's a very physical course anyway, I need to actually go and do stuff, not much I can do about it in front of my computer. Did that sound dirty or something, Allow me to elaborate then, most of my work involves actually going out a filming for real with school film equipment. It's basically me learning a trade, more then theory. I am also writing an Essay about the history of My Little Pony as a TV show, however I am not looking forward to have to research the previous generations.
