I'm in an advanced script-writing class this semester, and I've been struggling a bit with getting a good idea for my first assignment, which is this: write a 3 page script for a scene that focuses on the conflict between two characters, and be sure to utilize the outline of Dramatic Scene Structure (stasis, turning point, climax, and resolution) to help the reader understand the flow of the scene. I don't need too much help from you guys. Just a basic idea for a good scenario and conflict will suffice, and it can even be an MLP scene if you've got something clever in mind. And I'll credit anypony whom I use an idea from on the script's title page. Thanks in advance.
This reminds me of an acting thing I had to do in my Health class. We were supposed to partner up with someone and do a conflict scene. Well, you could always use Octavia and Vinyl Scratch as your basis. They're the equivalent of "opposites attract" in the fandom and would be great for creating a scene where you could encompass all of the ideas needed.
No MLP. That's illegal in real life. Of course, you could base something off an MLP storyline, but don't make that obvious.
Hrrrm... Well I am no drama person, but I certainly am a writer. First of all, your characters have to want something. A conflict may arise because both of these demands cannot be met, or only one can be met. Maybe there could be some form of compromise as the resolution. I dunno. What kinda genre you planning on writing anyway, Cinema Brony?
What if these two people were the same, it was the same person and two different parts of their brain conflicting, perhaps creating a whole other entity for the real character to fight with...
