I need help coming up with fanfictions. Here are ones i would like: Horror Comedy Adventure Drama Fantasy Can anypony help? P.S. It must be pony related or else Celestia sends you to the moon.
If you head over to www.equestriadaily.com you will find a header called "fics", then use your search terms in the Google navbar on the right to get your results. Good luck
I'm not a writer, but you should try read others fan-fics and gain inspiration from them. If you have a hard time writing, I have heard from several writers that they write the best when having a lots of emotions going on. I'm not saying that you should try become depressed, but if you happen to become happy/depressed/angry it may be a good time to write. Again, I'm not a writer. Good luck! :3
I guess it could be a drama, but it's honestly the best ponyfic I've ever read. It's really sad, but well written. Simply Rarity
Did I misunderstand? Did you want us to recommend good fan-fics or do you need help writing your own? I like this one so far, but it's long like the 6 first harry potter books together xD: Fallout Equestria I'm currently at chapter 24, I started reading last Saturday, lol.
There are tons of great MLP:FiM related fics out there. I've written a couple, one of which is part of a longer project. The other two are just part of a loosely connected storyline. I do adventure and romance.
if you need help gathering ideas for a fic, I have seen a few others at the Equestria Forums ( http://www.equestriaforums.com/ ), and I'm sure there are so many good ideas to choose from yet to be made into MLP fanfics, why this shouldn't be a problem for long (if I am correctly interpreting the topic, of course, I may be getting it all wrong). Why, I could even throw a few around over PM if you want (once I get over the flu). If it is good fanfiction you want, I will point out the obvious and say 'Rainbow Factory', and I've heard 'My Little Dashie' and 'Empty Room' are both good, although you could just check EQD's collection for a better compilation.
well here's my advice first break down the concept to it's base elements then find an idea you can work with something simple enough to elaborate on but complex enough to hold interest then make an interesting cast of characters (sense your doing a fan-fic this doesn't mater) know develop your story and characters and a fantasy in a fantasy world is an adventure and if it's adventure you want to do bring in a new villain that will cause them to go on a quest can't beat the classics after all
well, not necessarily; the classics can be very much overdone. If you feel you can experiment with morality roles and the fantasy genre, go ahead, I'd say! I'm not saying the classic fantasy storyline is bad or necessarily stale or that you shouldn't do it if you want to, I'm just saying that fiction is such a massive thing, why contain oneself with stereotypes or expectations?
Ponychan has something called a "storyforge" thread. I've never looked at it myself, but it could help if you're looking for ideas. Now, was the OP looking for recommendations or assistance in writing? If looking for some to read, Equestria Daily or FiMFiction.net is the place to go.
How to write fanfic in 3 easy steps: 1: Read ALL of the books. All of them. Ever. Or at least read lots. 2: Have someone give you 3 random and completely unrelated nouns. (i.e. Apple_Core, Kama, Gorilla) 3: Choose a genre and WRITE! This always ends well, if a bit silly.
