OK, so I am 15 and I became a brony 2 weeks ago. I really want to get some MLP merch, including a couple t-shirts, some toys, and maybe a few plushies. The only problem is that my parents aren't exactly comfortable with me being a brony just yet, and I am nervous to ask them if I can buy some merchandise. I would like some help on how I am supposed to ask them.

You could just ask them, but if you'd like to avoid that. You could go to welovefine. They have some pony shirts that are to easy to assume they are MLP. The tags on the shirt still say MLP though. So is assume they'd see it sooner or later.

So I'd just ask. Would probably be quicker and easier.

I don't know about how to ask, but I can think of two options that might help your parents become more comfortable with your bronyism, and by extension, make it easier to ask them to buy merch for you. The first is to give them some time to come to terms with your new interest, but I assume you're coming here because that process is taking a while, so I'll move right along to number two, which is to expose them to what it means to be a brony, not using the show, but by using fanworks that they might be better able to associate with. For instance, what kind of music do your parents like? I'll see if I can find some brony songs of that genre for you to show them.
