First of all, welcome to EP! I hope you enjoy your stay, if you need anything, feel free to contact me via skype or PM.

Secondly, how long have you been drawing for? It helps to know of any past experience when determining if it's good or not.

For a mouse it's not half bad.

What I'd suggest is (if you don't own a tablet) drawing a picture on paper and the scanning them.
Once on the computer you can use various art programs to vector in a smoother layer of color to make it look nice and neat.

Which art program did you use?

Hmm, might I recommend either Paint tool SAI or GIMP?
GIMP is essentially photoshop, but free.

I use Paint.Net. Nothing wrong with it in my opinion but I have not yet used Paint Tool SAI yet though...Meaning too...

I like this, it's pretty good for a first go. Far better than my first goes. Nice one!

yes, you should continue! i'd love to see fellow swedes make more pony stuff.

you can always make rough sketches and then vector them in Inkscape or other programs like the ones mentioned above.

Really good, keep going! I'm still learning to draw ponies, but I'll get better one day!

I'm similar. I sketch on paper, and then scan it to the computer. Then I use Photoshop, ('Cause Sai don't have the pen tool I want,) and then I ink the whole thing there.

By the way, don't think of the mouse as any kind of a down-side. Some people just draw better that way. One of my artist friends, (who is way better than me, by the way,) has never touched a tablet, but does amazing digital art.

I hold to the belief that if you don't do it, you can't criticize it. This is really cool.

I reckon you should continue. The only way to get better is to keep trying!
