(the RP starts off in Guertenas Museum) Carla had finished up signing on what seemed to her a reservation book. she got a slip of paper from the man running it and went off to check the paintings. listening to her punk rock as usual she continued roaming the halls until she came across two paintings next to each other that struck her fancy. she checked the name plates underneath them. "hmm...Shadow woman and Crooked Man..." she continued shifting her gaze from one painting to another. "heh...you two wouldn't seem bad for each other."
Andrew was walking around the museum, looking at the paintings. He was waring a large black coat that covered almost all of his body, yet it looked good in him thanks to the color of his eyes and hair. He heard some people say it was good, but he wasn't so sure abut that. They looked a bit... creepy. Yet, he had to admit some of them looked quite interesting, creepy but interesting. he continued walking around, looking at them.
she continued looking between the two paintings unable to hear anything aside from her music which was at full blast.
Andrew walked near her and was able to hear all the music. "She will be deaf if she continues like that..." he said to himself as he started seeing the paintings she was seeing.
Suddenly the lights flickered and all other voices suddenly stopped. the only thing that could be heard was Carlas music coming from her headphones but nothing else. (Paintings, this is your cue!)
"...When you look into the abyss, the abyss also looks into you..." -Edgar Allan Poe Flicker. Twitch. A wooshing sound came from behind the man, but then, it seemed to travel toward the girl. Within the shadows, someone seemed to move rather quickly, someone unknown... or something. Perhaps it was a trick of the light? But now the gallery seemed to be empty save for the two. Or was it? The flickers of dim light only could illuminate so much, and the darkness seemed so unending. The flickers seemed to make to portraits move their eyes... at least, that's what one would think.....
"That was weird..." Andrew said after he saw that. He looked around the room and noticed that only he and the girl beside him were the only ones there.
Suddenly, the music the girl was playing stopped, all islence... and then, from the headphones came what seemed like a million voices, saying, all at the same time, loud enough so the man could hear as well, "LOOK INTO THE ABYSS..."
"GAH!" in a flasdh she tossed off her headphones and saw them ricohet off the wall and land in front of the abyss painting. "oh ****, my headphones!" she ran over to her headphones to grab them but before she did she somehow lost herself staring at the abyss painting.she completely forgot her headphones and continued looking in the abyss.
"****!" Andrew heard those voices. "What the hell is that?!" He said. He saw that she throwed the headphones and then started looking at the painting. "Hey, what are you doing!" He yelled at her seeing her like lost in it.
"Dang it!" He said and he simply pulled her to a side, hoping it will work and without looking at the painting so he didn't end like her.
The painting seemed to move within the flickers. What was that? It seemed to be a tall figure somewhere within the black of the painting, and something about it seemed... hypnotizing... beckoning. A voiceless whisper called to the girl to come inside, something that reached her mind, but not her ears. It was seducive to a state that it seemed like it ws impossible to head the unspoken command.....
"Snap out of it!" Andrew said grabbing her from her hand and pulling her back. What was she doing? Why was she hypnotized by the painting? He had to help her some way.
And now, through the looking glass. She had just seemingly stepped back into the gallery. She was were she was before, except... she wasn't. To the man's eyes, she had seeped into the colours of the painting. Would he follow? Suddenly, all the lights flickered off... except, it seemed, the Abyss painting glowed, and produced a dark blue light that slightly illuminated the man. And something seemed to move within the darkness behind him. Maybe the light was safer...
"!!!" Andrew turned back to see what it was, but didn't saw anything, it was too black to see. He looked around, getting a bit scared about his surroundings. He looked at the painting, was it safe to go? Will he be at least a bit safer that staying there with that... black creature? There was only one way to find out... He gulped and went into the paining, hoping it was safer than the darkness.
