Hey all I'm thinking of creating a blog for bronies with information, thoughts, rants and even more however I don't want to do it alone so I'm wondering if any pony would like to help with this.

Not leaving then? ^^ I honestly think you need to put more thought into it than merely making it "custom" and using blogger, last I checked, EquestriaDaily uses Blogger - it's not exactly a 'selling point'. By all means if it's what you really want to do, go for it. I'm sure there's plenty who will lend you a hoof, I just think you need to come up with a more robust idea of what you're going to talk about.
