i would like to try and simulate a game of Eight Pages on this site and see if i could get some people to play. i already tried posting and didnt read the rules, nor did i know about the interest check, so i would like to know if anyone thinks this is a good idea and if they would like to help make this fun and interesting, for i am new to RP games. here is what i posted earlier: it's cold... the forest was so...so...so cold tonight... Slendermane wandered through the forest in search of prey. he didnt like killing, but in the end he could say it was for survival.... it was a simple game he played, though one could say he was playing with his food, he just saw it as having one last bit of fun with his prey before they were...dealt with... the game was simple. he would aim for children first; they always drew pretty drawings for him, which was why he decided to use them for his game. he would collect eight of the childrens' drawings and pin them up randomly throughout his home. he would wait for a weary traveller to stumble across the pictures. if he ignored them then he/she was allowed to carry on...but if they touched one of the drawings...the game was on. if anypony gathers all eight then he gives them a surprise gift in the end: he would personally escort them out of his home without harm... no pony ever wins.... now Slendermane wandered through his home in search of fear to consume. that was another thing: fear. he fed on it and could see it, which was why he never lost his prey; the trail of fear was so plain and visible that he could track his prey backwards and blind-folded. he stopped next to a large tunnel that he normally pinned a page in. it echoed his every sound, which wasnt a lot.... they called him heartless... they called him a monster... they called him an abomination... all of this was true, but it was all for survival. he had to consume the young and old alike in order to survive. if he could survive on something more common than fear he would, but in the mean time... one of his Dark Tendrils twitched, alerting him that one of his pages had been removed. another cheery fact. everyone always wonders how his pages stuck to the surfaces they were on. truth was they werent. they were being held in place by his Dark Tendrils, which were invisible to the naked eye. moving to intercept his prey he suddenly stopped. he would have fun with this one. it had been well over a month since he had a challenge...lets see how far this mortal will get....
well, it would start off with the predator, slender mane, wandering through his forest, giving hints to where a few pages are. the setting is in the woods, same as the eight pages game. as you see in the above text that one page will already be taken. that is how the game begins with one page missing and the prey loose in his home. the prey, whoever is playing the defensive, will go on through the story how they would were this real. you take a while to find the next page but regardless you find the pages, or do you? i have played this game on a few sites before and so far only one brony has beaten me, and that would be Redmon77. in truth i am trying to get revenge while having a bit of fun in the process. nice avatar by the way
