I don'r know if topics like this are allowed but just sending out a warning to everyone but tomorrow is the mark up for this Bill to getting either passed or not but the majority of the world wants it to not pass. stop SOPA also known as H.R.3261 from passing December 15, 2011. This is a direct threat to our Constitutional rights and threatens free speech and the very existence of Alternative media.

I want to hear your response from you on your ideas and opinions from it.

SOPA was a downright stupid idea to even think about. The fact that they're trying to go through with it is even more foolish. Do they not realise it will have a larger effect on the economy than they think?
Us as an example, we are giving that extra money to Hasbro for attracting an unintended target audience. This would never have happened with out some loose copyright laws. The episodes on YouTube spawned thousands of us, with every other group buying merchandise. Effectively, Hasbro gain more, thus helping the economy.
If SOPA were to go through, things like this would not happen in the future.
As you can see, I strongly disagree.
    Down with SOPA!

If they censor the internet, we'll just make a new internet. They can't stop anyone doing so. It'll take time to grow but eventually no one will use 'this' internet and go to that one because of what they've done.

I think there are a lot of people, who are able to create "a second internet".

Anyone can create their own second internet, it really just depends on how large you want it to be. Having a home server connecting to all your computers and allowing data to pass through it is like having a second internet within your home network.

Edit: Obviously you would need a LOT of resources to make a second internet, I'm just providing a small scale example.

Provided someone like Bill Gates (Who doesn't support the bill.) creates it, I'm sure we'll find a way.
Well... only a short amount of time until the vote...
...God bless America if it passes. I'll move to Wales/London if it does.

Not really; America just won't be able to view international stuff because of crappy copyright laws.

The only "World-Wide" repercussions would be blocked sites from different countries and monitored government access.
Useful videos, ponies, everything, gone, due to a crappy government.

Fortunatly they can't do that anymore. At least I hope so
This would ensure the safety of our beloved ponies as Youtube is a .com website, not how I could see how this bill is supposed to combat piracy this way as the piriate bay is a .net website and therefore untouchable. Though I do sense some kind of trickery here.

The bill is still horrible though and should be stopped because I think there is a more sinister purpose behind it than they let on. Though it might no longer be RAGNAROK as it were before the amendment. I am not kidding, taking down youtube might have resulted in a revolt and civil war, not to mention the people of Europe might have had enough of America acting world police.
