Imagine your playing a RPG game that has each of the mane 6 in it. What skills would you imagine each of the ponies have. Let your imagination run wild guys.
Rarity: Makeover! - Put a silly dress on your opponent, making it harder for them to fight. -Reduces enemy stats Fluttershy: Stare - Use the power of your Stare to stop an opponent in their tracks. -Causes temporary paralysis. Pinkie Pie: Party Cannon - Hop into your Party Cannon and become a pony cannonball! -Massive damage attack Applejack: Family Time - Call a member of the Apple Family to help you out. - Summons either Granny Smith, Apple Bloom, or Big Macintosh to perform a special attack. Effect varies depending on which family member appears. Rainbow Dash: Sonic Rainboom - Perform a Sonic Rainboom above your opponent and dazzle them with your awesomeness! - High damage attack/high chance of stunning enemy. Twilight Sparkle: Teleport - Teleport behind your opponent and take them by surprise. -High damage attack/chance of instant KO on enemy.
Sadly my imagination came up with pretty much the same things as Ridley Wolf. The only skill I'd do different is Twilight Sparkle. Her skill would be Lecture: Tell the enemy the origin of their weapon slash spell, boredom caused the enemy to cease attack.
On a more balancing perspective, I would probably have something like Twilight's Teleport skill be a skill she uses to maybe dodge an enemy attack by like a 50% chance or something along those lines. Other then that, the ideas are pretty good. Lecture also sounds like a pretty nice concept if you have certain enemies that are immune to the effect along with a percentage chance to avoid people constantly spamming the skill.
Yeah Balance has never been my strong point my normal character is strong, smart, tough and his only weakness is projectiles. Can't ever hit what he's aiming at, cause in real life neither can I.
Another idea would be to have Twilight start the game as a Unicorn, with a special attack fitting her Unicorn powers, and have her get her wings partway through the game, which would give her a more powerful Alicorn special attack.
Heh, looks like your more of the mage type Lioconvoy. As for Ridley, that's a pretty smart idea you can probably also throw in some dark magic for possible the princesses.
Rarity- Fashion Show: Buffs all the party member's defense with the latest armor fashion. Pinkie- Reality Breakdown: Rearranges all the target's stats. Fluttershy- Passive Radiance: Cause the target to be unable to make an aggressive actions. Target can still make defensive or supportive actions. Applejack- Hogtie: Lasso a target and disable them for a turn. Rainbow Dash- High Speed, Low Drag: Take off for a turn out of combat before delivering a swooping attack from the heavens on a random enemy. Twilight- Magic Overload: Hits the target with a random spell with stats boosted x20.
I would see alot of balancing needed, pinkies would probably be overpowering so that would need to be fixed. Radiance should be a skill that has a 10% chance for two or three turns. Other than that I like the ideas, especially rainbows.
