I am not leaving for good. The reasons I have had for visiting this site seem to have faded away. I need to focus on other things and clear my head. You may or may not have noticed that I have not been as active recently on the board as I have been in the past. For me, Everypony used to be a place of fun and enjoyment and an escape from everyday life. It does not do this for me at the moment I am sorry to say. Recent events have made me rethink if I want to be a part of the community here right now; I have a very bad taste in my mouth. I hope to be pleasantly surprised when I decide I've had enough time away. My feelings toward the board have started to shift to apathy, which I feel is worse than not liking it. I hope to come back refreshed and ready to embrace the site that I know this place once was. Please, take a look around the board. Observe and think about what is going on. I will still be around on Skype if anyone wishes to talk. Good luck and Godspeed. - Dragonbait
We will miss you Dragonbait. I hope your faith and joy from this site comes back, but until then, have a good life.
v THAT in my signature is NOT going to be moving any time in the future Seriously, you're one of the best users I've had the privellage to know on this site, and you can be sure as hell I'm going to stay in contact with you on Skype and other places. Truly a sad day for the site, and I hope to god you come back sooner rather than later.
You will be missed. You've been one of the most active members here at EP. I hope to see the day of your return. I wish you luck with your future endeavors.
Much brony love to you Dragonbait. Hopefully you'll return with renewed interest. If not, then all the best to you and I hope to see you elsewhere.
Cheesy quote time! "Apathy can be overcome by enthusiasm, and enthusiasm can only be aroused by two things: first, an ideal, which takes the imagination by storm, and second, a definite intelligible plan for carrying that ideal into practice." - Arnold J. Toynbee. I definitely understand needing to take some time away from something, especially if you're feeling apathy where once there was joy. I can only hope that you rediscover and/or rekindle what originally made you love the site, and return to us.
It took us a punch in the gut to change what we should have changed in the first place. I hope you return someday when the users and staff, together, change things.
take care, and hope that this state won't last long *hugs* hope to see you soon on site (also, if you want to, chat, i'm usually on skype at night.)
