I'm sorry if this comes off as a dumb question but since their is Hearth's Warming Eve in Equestria and it is most likely based on Christmas Eve which is today is it safe to bet that there is a regular Hearth's Warming as well?
Ya it does. A lot of people in the fandom seem to think that Hearth's Warming Eve is the holiday itself and that always gets me a little confused why they think that.
Halloween is sometimes called All Hallows Eve, and it's a stand-alone holiday. Why can't Hearth's Warming Eve be it's own holiday?
Yeah, I thought Hearth's Warming was the day the three tribes got a long and formed Equestria. So Hearth's Warming Eve is the day before that celebration.
The word "eve" in these holiday's names means "on the eve of" which implies the time/day immediately preceding the actual holiday. So yes, it would make a lot more sense if "Hearth's Warming Eve" was the day/night before "Hearth's Warming Day."
