isnt 7 periods a bit much. Over here in England its only 5 periods with a 15 minute break between P2 and 3 and a 45 minute lunch between 3 and 4. If its actually like that in america I feel bad for you. 7 hours of school with only one break. also all our maths is one lesson none of this calculus, algebra split lesson stuff.

Attitude towards school: was a fan of it but a bit sceptical at a new school in another country
Background (Optional):Used to live and go to a school in Nottingham, England but has now moved to (insert country/place where it is set) due to her fathers work so now is the new girl at a new school.

 

Depends on where you are, but the average is 7 periods a day with a 30 minute lunch. However, in places like my school district, we use block scheduling, which is 8 total classes, 4 classes a day at 1.5 hours long, and a 50 minute lunch.

fairly tall (~6ft 2), blue eyes, shortish dark brown hair, often wears plain or football team shirts, wears plain pants or shorts depending on the weather.

Personality: shy towards those he doesn't know, but will often make sarcastic quips to people he's familiar with if he sees an oppurtunity, is actually fairly smart, especially with history, but tends to keep his head down and his mouth shut in class. He's actually quite friendly towards those he knows. Loves football.
Attitude towards school: Something that just needs to be gotten through as best as possible, however, sees this new school as an oppurtunity to make something he never had at home; friends
Background (Optional): was a born and raised Texan before family moved to (area this takes place). While he most definitely is not your stereotypical Texan, he still very much loves his home state and doesn't try to hide it, right to the accent. He also isn't very good socially due to being isolated and hated by most other kids back in Texas.
