Interest Check: Cyberpunk RP

So I was coming up with a pretty cool cyberpunk RP, so here's what I got so far.

The World

Module, The City of the Future, promises the end of tears, sorrow, and suffering as ponykind knows it. Instilling a strict, militant utopia, the city has known peace, ever since creating the technology that every population depends upon. Eventually, it has spread its reign throughout the entire world, dominating with a theocratic government that worships their goddess, Serenity, granddaughter of Celestia, and enforcing their laws with brute force. The Elements of Harmony are immortalized within the robotic bodies of the mane six, hovering in a frozen sleep beneath Serenity's tower. However, Module has begun to find resistance in the form of a rebel group called the Ghosts, that threaten to end their hold on the world. With the world entering a new and chaotic state, what effect will you have? What will be your code?

The Map

Currently the World is split into three different continents and two different worlds. The First world known as "Stable". Its three major continents are:

Icarus: A large arid continent whose advancement in technology has been the slowest of all three nations. They have a Greek-like civilization and are known for their barbaric culture and violent traditions. They have a massive battle-dome in which they sentence prisoners to die fighting to the death to the death against powerful creatures. Their government consists of a council of elders. They are currently are in an alliance with Module.

Romance Via: An island who is credited for the birth of the legendary Code Chips that many seek today. They are similar to the lost ponies of Atlantis; they honor knowledge, individuality, and creativity. They have an elegant and advanced civilization and are known for their appreciation of the arts. They are known for the massive large frozen arc of water that hangs above their city said to be the only thing left of their original home. Their government operates under a monarchy. They are currently in a bit of a power struggle with Module.

Module: A magnificent robotic city, whose technological advancement has put them in the forefront of the world's power. They have a European like civilization and are known for being the revolutionists of the world in terms of advancement. Their government operates under a military dictatorship and seek to further expand their borders, though their purposes are largely unknown to their brethen nations. They had a very passionate mindset, living under strong discipline and faith, and worship their leader, the alicorn Serenity. They are currently at war with the Ghosts.

Groups

Hackers: Hackers have the ability to hack into computers, Net spaces, and Intel based characters. They can warp how programs work and interact by rewriting information as they see fit.

Ghosts: The Ghosts are a secret society of hackers, born on the Luster. They consists of a tight-knit group of ponies, each in their own cities, who are united by a desire to bring down the tyrannical power of Module, who threatens to take over the world. Their main values consist of privacy, secrecy, and the right to live the way you want. They try very hard to conceal their virtual identities, despite the fact that they are all quite infamous on the net, especially because of the creation of the Diamond Portal.

The Second world known as "Luster" is only accessible with those access to Code Chips. This world is unstable, changing frequently (one moment it could be the desert, the next a giant ocean.) It is basically the internet; another universe where you can either use the fuctioning sites that the However, inside it is the Diamond Portal, the prize the Module seek in order to expand their borders and militant power, as one is able to teleport across the world once entering this one.

Races

Ponies: Of the usual Earth, Unicorn, or Pegasus race. They are much more durable in this age, with bones similar to steel. The Unicorns use their magic to create worlds within the Luster, because their imagination combined with their innate ability gives them that gift. Pegasi are used primarily to fly ships across space to the many ports that gravitate around their world. They are proficient in unusual endurance, and are known for their unbreakable loyalty. Earth Ponies are the most of the popualation. They serve as faithful civilians, either as cyborgs in Module, granted robotic wings or other limbs, or dwell within the other lands. They work the easiest as hackers, having a technological sense beyond that of other ponies. Alicorns are very, very rare. The only one known to live is Serenity, leader of Module.

Virus: Virus's are a special type of race formed within Luster appearing like ponies. They are covered in rainbow-hued tattoos that carry billions upon billions of data. They do not bleed; however, they evaporate if they receive excess damage or should a limb be separated for too long. They are unable to use any of the Code Chips, however they are able to freely roam Luster. Due to their complex nature, hackers can't combat them using their normal powers. Virus characters have the ability to devour a character through the means of a data infusion.

Intel: A Cyborg race that currently resides in Module. Once ponies, they have now completely abandoned their roots and have evolved through numerous years. Intel ponies share the ability to hack as well as use Code Chips for their abilities. However they are special as they can mod their bodies with different weapons to bring down their opponents. Intel characters can enter Luster however should they spend a long period of time their bodies began to break down and begin to evaporate from the numerous virus codes that attack them while in there.

Powers and Abilities

Code Chips: Code Chips were once the product of the Romance Via civilization, used to defeat their enemies in virtual battle. However, within the passing years they have seemingly become extinct. Because encounters with them are rare, a number of rumors about them have risen, making it difficult to tell whether some things are fact or fiction. The average person knows nothing or very little about what they are.
Code Chips imbued the user with unimaginable power, granting them abilities that normal people would be unable to use. There is only one Code Chip for each power (EX: Lightning, Fire, Etc Etc) and thus two users with the same code chip powers cannot exist. The down side to those who use Code Chips is that they are vunerable to Virus data, a violent, devouring fiend that invades and eats the body alive within the Luster World.​

YAY so many ponies interested! I thought the complexity would be unattractive at first, lol. Villians are always fun, btw. I have more work to do on it still guys, but the signup will have any new info.

 

It'll be awesome, I promise. But for now, I'll have to ask everypony to wait about two weeks or so til I start this one. We move in a week and a half, so I'd like to get settled first.
