Welcome to an interest check for another retry of LOCP (Lives of Original Characters in Ponyville), it has been done twice before, once in the old RP area, and another around the beginning of the RP Section. Since there is a brand new set of RPers, I decided why not another go? So, LOCP is an RP series based around a set of Elements(think a second set of the Elements of Harmony), called the Elements of the Ancients: Light, Darkness, Speed, Luck, Fire, Honor, Force, Power, Focus, and Righteousness(like righteous rule, not like "righteous dude"). LOCP is also set up to where half of it is just a casual, going about your business kinda RP, then the 'controller' of the Elements and brother to Celestia, Tremalion, finds out something wrong and thus you have to work together to stop it. The thing about LOCP is that I will never let you know the true plotline until it happens and that it is meant to challenge you as an RPer. LOCP is also not a single RP, it is a series of interconnected RP's with different stories building off of each other. In short: This isn't your normal RP, you will have to work together when the problem comes, and it is a series, not a single RP. What do you think? Do you wanna give it a go?
Sounds interesting...so this RP requires a total of ten people, then? One for each of those elements? Or is the number/aspect of these elements open to change based on the amount of interest and chosen profiles?
If enough people join, that would be perfect, however if all the element spots cannot be filled, I will allow addition OCs
Well, it's just that I've got only one OC, but I'm not entirely sure if he embodies any of those elements well enough. I'd say he's got two especially defining qualities. -He is extremely observant and analytical. Nothing escapes his notice. He sees EVERYTHING. His observations may be limited to things that are explicitly stated in the thread, but he can figure out a surprising amount with only a little information. -His special talent is finding new and innovative ways to apply spells. His magical control and finesse is phenomenal, and just for fun, whenever he needs to do magic, he tries to find the simplest possible spell that can be used to accomplish the task. So, he might qualify for Focus, but that doesn't seem like that would be a quality he embodies. I was asking to see if one of the elements could be swapped out for something better suited to him. But if not, perhaps he might also be eligible for Light or Honor.

Okay, another way to put it: are the elements listed above set in stone, or subject to change based on the profiles?
