So, I got this idea from one of my friends. It goes like this. So basically, you're a group of ponies/dragons/griffins or any race as long as it exists with in the show. The person who started the RP, me in this case is the "Dungeon Master" the Dungeon Master doesn't RP, but can make events happen and control the enemies. It's turn based like Final Fantasy, but has a skill system kinda like Skyrim. Once we get 3 interests we'll start.
Sounds like a good idea, that's how original D&D games went out. However, you still need an overarching quest or some kind of sceneario to draw in interest. What you've described is just a way to RP.
Hm... Good point. How about the return of Discord and Chrysalis? They would team up and try to take over Equestria.
